About the Role


The Digital Analytics Manager supports data-informed strategy and decision-making across digital communications and paid media programs. This role plays a critical part in helping our efforts to reach and move key voters by turning complex data into clear insights in digital programs. You’ll work cross-functionally with paid, creator, creative production, and Research & Development teams to analyze data, support audience strategy development, report on media performance, and evaluate program impact.

This role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for using data to make an impact in high-stakes campaigns.

This is a remote position. The role includes occasional travel, and working hours are 10AM–6PM ET regardless of location. We are not currently registered to do business in all locations. In particular, we are not currently accepting applicants based in Florida, Hawaii, Missouri, and Texas due to regulatory considerations. 


Responsibilities

  • Audience Strategy: Lead the development of data-informed audience strategies in collaboration with the Digital Communications and R&D teams. Provide strategic input on digital campaign planning and ensure analytics considerations are integrated into program design.
  • Targeting Execution: Translate strategic audience recommendations into actionable targeting plans in partnership with the Paid Media team.
  • Data Analysis & Infrastructure: Conduct digital program analyses using data sources like media performance metrics, the voter file, and surveys . 
  • Reporting & Visualization: Maintain and improve internal dashboards and reporting systems that clearly communicate performance insights to stakeholders.
  • Experimentation & Creative Testing: Design and analyze experiments, including in-field tests and creative panels, to evaluate program effectiveness and inform campaign tactics.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Serve as a key point of contact for paid media vendors, ensuring digital analytics needs are communicated and met.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with R&D and Digital Communications teams to align data strategy with campaign goals and ensure insights are actionable.
  • Best Practices & Quality Control: Ensure the application of analytical best practices across media campaigns and maintain high standards of data accuracy and insight quality.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience working with political data, including at least 2 election cycles
  • Experience with digital advertising data and/or media performance metrics
  • Proficient in SQL and R. Proficiency in Python is a plus. 
  • Experience supporting or coordinating across multiple stakeholders, with exposure to team collaboration and project oversight
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver clear, timely reports and audience insights in a fast-paced campaign or advocacy environment
  • Experience working with voter file data for analysis, targeting, or audience development
  • Familiarity with creative testing, including assisting with the setup, analysis, or interpretation of creative testing panels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience designing, building, and optimizing data solutions in Google BigQuery and related Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (e.g., cloud composer, cloud run, cloud scheduler, cloud storage, google workflows, secrets manager, looker)
  • Experience developing and conducting in-field RCTs 
  • Experience presenting strategic recommendations to a cross functional audience
  • Familiarity with digital advertising platforms (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads)

Compensation and Benefits

The budget for this position is $90,000-$110,000 commensurate with experience.

The hiring process for selected candidates will consist of a phone screen, at-home exercise (compensated), and a set of final round interviews. Most processes will occur over 3-4 weeks with a target start date mid September.
