Job Description: 

Title: Senior Finance Manager

Location: Vancouver (Hybrid)

Role Type: Full-time

Financial Leadership:

  • Develop and execute financial strategies to support business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to optimize resource allocation and performance.
  • Implement and monitor robust financial controls, processes and technology solutions to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and enhance financial reporting and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models that can be readily adapted to support external stakeholders with a deep understanding of financial metrics.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reports and communicate financial results effectively to stakeholders.
  • Oversee treasury management, including cash flow optimization and capital allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives that support revenue growth and cost optimization.
  • Manage international financial operations, including foreign exchange, tax compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
  • Lead the FP&A Business Partnerships team in maintaining strong data governance, and reporting practices.
  • Oversee month-end activities and manage financial operations relative to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General ledger and Financial Reporting.

Qualifications:

  • A university degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Business Administration.
  • Completed CPA designation or similar credentials required.
  • Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a management role.
  • Previous experience leading finance teams and financial transformation in a scaling business.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with internal financial operations and multi-currency accounting and consolidations is considered an asset.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Range: The base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 - $130,000/year. Salary is based on several factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
