About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Operations Manager to support our Marketing, Sales and Customer Experience teams in modernising and maintaining our tech-stack and systems to support both product-led growth and sales-led verticals.
Responsibilities
- Own the marketing tech stack, including CDP, CRM, marketing automation and analytics tools, ensuring tools provide clear, intuitive and properly contextualised and actionable information
- Ensure all clean, relevant data automatically flows through to relevant external channels (eg. use SQL to connect Snowflake to Facebook Audiences via Segment)
- Set up and optimise the infrastructure for sales and marketing automation
- Evaluate, implement and integrate new technologies to improve workflows and performance
- Improving sales and marketing attribution capabilities
- Build robust, data-rich, unified User & Account data for use by internal team members and AI implementation
- Manage data hygiene, segmentation, and synchronisation between systems
- Build and optimise processes for campaign planning, execution and reporting
- Support lead management workflows, including scoring, routing and nurturing
- Ensure accurate tracking and attribution across all channels and touch-points
- Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs, pipeline conversion and ROI
- Analyse marketing performance and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to forecast and measure impact
- Identify and implement ways to improve efficiency and scale marketing operations
- Develop documentation, training and best practices for the marketing team
- Champion data driven decision making and marketing excellence
- Automate admin-related tasks, freeing up the team to focus on other work
- Lead seamless migrations from existing systems
Experience
- 3-5+ years in marketing tech and operations
- Proven experience in using SQL to query data
- Experience in Segment or equivalent CDP tools
- Experienced in the unique challenges of B2B software sales, marketing and customer support for SMB customers
- Proven experience leading the implementation of CRMs, data warehouses, ad channel data and more in organisations with complex requirements
- Strong background in customer data platforms (Segment) and warehouses (Snowflake) for unifying customer data, building robust audience segments, and ensuring activation across multiple marketing channels and systems.
- Previous experience working with Stripe data
- Up to date on the latest strategies, tools and materially impactful AI implementations
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills
