Role Overview
As an Associate Director of Audience Experience at /prompt, you help lead the development and delivery of audience-led strategies across social, influencer, and digital channels for healthcare and pharma brands, shaping how these regulated brands show up within modern content ecosystems. You bring a holistic understanding of how audiences engage across platforms – while offering deep expertise in influencer marketing within regulated environment.
You ensure that ideas are not only strategically sound, but also show up effectively across the audience ecosystem – from influencer partnerships to broader social channel execution. You are able to connect influencer strategy to the larger audience experience, understanding how creators, platforms and content work together to drive engagement, relevance and impact.
You have strong hands-on experience in healthcare influencer programs, including working with patient, HCP, advocacy and lifestyle creators, and the ability to navigate MLR processes without compromising creativity.
You’ll oversee select client workstreams, own day-to-day campaign planning and execution, and serve as a bridge between strategy and implementation, translating strategic intent into clear direction for teams. You’ll work closely with Creative, Strategy, and Audience Experience leads to translate ideas into clear, compliant and culturally relevant execution.
This role sits within Audience Experience — an integrated discipline that fuses content, conversations, and conversions to meet audiences where they are. We ensure ideas don’t just exist, but show up in the right channels, at the right moments, with the right influencers and content to earn attention, spark talk value, and fuel algorithmic takeoff.
Skillset
- Proven success managing and overseeing social, influencer, and digital programs within regulated industries, such as pharma, biotech or OTC brands, across multiple clients or campaigns (3-4+ years of experience within pharma and healthcare is required for this role)
- Skilled in translating brand objectives into actionable audience strategies with minimal oversight
- Proficient in FDA, FTC and platform specific guidelines including fair balance, ISI, disclosures and AE reporting; experienced in navigating MLR reviews
- Fluent in platform trends and content formats across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Meta – and applies within regulatory constraints
- Able to identify patterns across influencer campaigns and channels, helping improve processes, playbooks, and ways of working within healthcare and pharma.
- Strong understanding of healthcare influencer marketing operations including creative collaboration, talent vetting, contracting considerations, and performance evaluation
- Experienced in managing day-to-day team operations, timelines, and deliverables, providing guidance and oversight to ensure quality and consistency
- Proficient in using audience data and cultural insights to inform influencer strategy
- Skilled at optimizing campaigns for engagement and impact while maintaining creative and brand integrity
- Adept at presenting work internally and externally with clarity, confidence, and strategic context
- Effective collaborator who partners across Creative, Strategy, and Client Experience to deliver integrated, cohesive work
