Sales Support Specialist

Position Summary: Fueled by diversity, our Sales Support Specialist role at Untold Spirits invites you to blend innovation with passion, creating a spirited impact in the dynamic realm of premium spirits, shaping the future. The Sales Support Specialist is a vital part of the sales team, providing comprehensive administrative, analytical, and technical assistance to help the sales force achieve its targets. This role involves managing sales data, creating training content, and developing tools to improve efficiency and productivity.


Key Competencies & Responsibilities:


Sales Data Management and Analysis:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Create and maintain sales dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
  • Provide insights to the sales management team to help them make data-driven decisions.
  • Forecast sales performance and track key performance indicators (KPIs).

Training and Development Support:

  • Develop and deliver training materials for new sales hires and existing team members on products, sales tools, and processes.
  • Create and update sales enablement content, including product guides, presentations, and best practice documents.
  • Coordinate training sessions and workshops to ensure the sales team is equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.

Programming and Process Automation:

  • Develop and maintain scripts and applications (e.g., using Python or VBA) to automate repetitive sales tasks.
  • Integrate various sales platforms (e.g., CRM and marketing automation tools) to streamline workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to sales tools and systems.

General Sales Support:

  • Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, such as generating proposals, managing contracts, and responding to client inquiries.
  • Act as a liaison between the sales department and other internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service.
  • Ensure all sales activities are in compliance with company policies and procedures.


Professional Experience/Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience: 2-4 years of experience in sales support, data analysis, or a similar role.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages like Python for data manipulation and automation.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas).
  • Experience with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Salary

$25 per hour (up to 30 hours per week)
