Account Executive

Job Type: FT, Contract-to-hire

Location: Hybrid in Chicago, Remote in Atlanta, Houston, or NY
Start Date: ASAP


Role Overview
Our client is seeking a driven and client-focused National Account Executive to join our growing team. The Account Executive will play a pivotal role in building relationships with clients, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer success across our event management and ticketing platform and advertising business. This is a contract-to-hire position, offering the opportunity for long-term growth and equity with the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities with event organizers, cultural institutions, and brand partners.
  • Manage and grow existing client relationships by delivering excellent service and support.
  • Conduct product demos and presentations to showcase the value of the client’s platform.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, and product) to ensure client satisfaction and successful event execution.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, maintaining a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts and proposals in alignment with company policies.
  • Track and report sales performance, pipeline activity, and client insights using CRM tools.
  • Service accounts with day to day communications with the support of the customer success team. 

Qualifications

  • 2–4+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development (experience in events, SaaS, or ticketing industries a strong plus).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Highly motivated, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and digital sales tools.
  • Network in the event and entertainment industry or media industry is a plus.

Salary

$60,000-$80,000/yr, depending on experience, +bonus (based on sales performance)
