About the opportunity

The primary responsibilities of this role include directly supporting the growth of our three brands by supporting the Chief Development Officer (CDO) and sales team. The daily functions include managing calendar appointments, organizing travel plans, and scheduling calls. Additionally, you will assist the franchise sales team and the Vice President of Franchise Sales by supporting all sales efforts, including booking trade shows, preparing for trade shows, managing direct mail campaigns, scheduling our final interview call with all candidates, supporting the initial inquiry for all resale candidates, and sending out communication to our system when a new Franchisee comes on board. This position demands a strong customer service orientation due to the substantial interaction with franchise candidates and the coordination involved.


How you will make a difference

  • Manage and draft email communications on behalf of the team, ensuring clarity, professionalism, and adherence to company standards.
  • Maintain calendar and other direct support functions for the Chief Development Officer, including assistance with calendar management, travel arrangements, expense reporting, etc.
  • Provide supporting role functions for other executives in the Franchise Sales and Development organization and the Sr. Director of Meeting Services as needed.
  • Utilize strong grammar and writing skills to create error-free, engaging, and effective correspondence with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain a consistent and professional tone in all email interactions, reflecting the company's values and brand image.
  • Track and manage the budget and expenses related to franchise marketing, trade show activities, travel for franchisees and other team members, and other executives for franchise sales events.
  • Engage extensively with franchise candidates through scheduling meetings, coordinating visits to our office, organizing calls, and hosting tours or Discovery Days, ensuring all interactions are professional and competent.
  • Develop and maintain an advertising calendar that includes all trade shows, print advertising contracts, web portal advertising contracts, and other lead generation activities.
  • Organize all tour activities for each franchise prospect, including creating tour announcements (both internal and external), setting up tour schedules, preparing tour packages, arranging travel when necessary, and coordinating the tour day agenda. 
  • Maintain organized files for all Franchise Development vendors.
  • Process all Franchise Sales and Development invoices for approval and payment by the Accounts Payable department.
  • Maintain and reorder inventory of lead generation collateral as needed.
  • Assist the Director of Resales by entering candidate information into the CRM, managing NDA signings, coordinating calls, and performing other assigned tasks.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

A strong candidate will have

  • The ability to work independently and make decisions, particularly when the CDO is traveling extensively.
  • Strong background in customer service and experience interacting with both customers and prospects.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and databases.
  • Willingness to undertake occasional overnight travel for trade shows.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in all work assignments.
  • Proven capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, with a preference for experience in Google Workspace.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong ability to follow up on tasks and projects.
