POSITION OVERVIEW: ProSearch is seeking a hands-on Business Systems Analyst/Administrator, Middleware Solutions, to support the integrations that connect our enterprise business systems. This role combines business analysis, middleware administration, and production support. You will gather requirements, configure iPaaS and cloud integration tools, troubleshoot data and API issues, and help deliver secure, reliable, and scalable integration solutions. The ideal candidate is a practical problem solver who can partner effectively with business users, application owners, engineers, and vendors to improve workflows, data movement, and system reliability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you will focus on three core areas: understanding business needs, supporting middleware and integration platforms, and strengthening reliable data movement across enterprise systems.
· Partner with business stakeholders, application owners, engineers, and vendors to define integration requirements, document user stories and data mappings, clarify acceptance criteria, and align support expectations.
· Translate business priorities and middleware standards into actionable backlog items, enhancements, support tasks, and operational improvements.
· Design practical, secure, and scalable integration solutions that use APIs, data transformations, enterprise integration patterns, workflow automation, and data flow documentation to support reliable business operations.
· Support middleware and integration platforms, including iPaaS tools, cloud integration services, message brokers, workflow automation tools, connectors, schedules, queues, credentials, certificates, alerts, and logs.
· Build, configure, test, and deploy integrations that improve data flow across Salesforce, NetSuite, Rippling, ActivTrak, Dovico, Jira, Jira Service Management, and other enterprise systems using iPaaS, API management, messaging, ETL/ELT, file transfer, workflow automation, or cloud integration tools.
· Plan and support testing activities, including unit, system, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing. Validate data movement, error handling, downstream impact, and production readiness.
· Troubleshoot API, middleware, file transfer, scheduling, authentication, data mapping, and cross-system issues, partnering with vendors and technical teams to drive timely resolution.
· Monitor queues, logs, schedules, alerts, service health, and incident trends. Use root cause analysis to recommend practical improvements to reliability, performance, and availability.
· Provide clear updates on requirements, risks, incidents, timelines, release status, and delivery progress for technical and non-technical audiences.
· Support releases and configuration changes by coordinating deployments, approvals, rollback planning, stakeholder communication, and post-deployment validation.
· Maintain strong practices for access control, credentials, certificates, audit readiness, change management, data protection, vulnerability response, and third-party risk.
· Use Agile and DevOps practices to support requirements, design, configuration, testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and production support.
· Maintain practical documentation, including integration designs, data flows, runbooks, troubleshooting steps, release notes, fixes, support procedures, and training materials.
· Identify opportunities to strengthen integration reliability, scalability, automation, team productivity, and business value.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualified candidates will bring hands-on integration experience, strong business systems knowledge, sound analytical judgment, and clear communication skills.
· 3+ years of hands-on experience with middleware, integration platforms, APIs, automation, data movement, or enterprise business systems; 5+ years preferred for candidates with senior-level integration ownership.
· Working knowledge of enterprise systems and integrations across HRIS, finance/ERP, CRM, delivery operations, time tracking, reporting, compliance, and related business platforms, including Salesforce, NetSuite, Rippling, ActivTrak, Dovico, Jira, and Jira Service Management.
· Practical experience with APIs, web services, file transfers, queues, scheduled jobs, connectors, authentication, certificates, credentials, data mapping, transformations, and error handling.
· Experience supporting integration or automation platforms through access management, workflow configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, incident support, and coordination with vendors or engineering teams.
· Familiarity with SQL, data analysis, reporting, JSON, XML, REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP, ETL/ELT, iPaaS, message queues, or similar integration technologies.
· Experience with integration platforms such as Workato, Boomi, Celigo, MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services, Microsoft Fabric, or similar platforms is helpful; experience with Workato or Boomi is preferred.
· Certifications in middleware administration, iPaaS, API management, cloud integration, data integration, automation, or related platforms are preferred.
· Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders, executives, colleagues, and cross-functional teams.
· Sound judgment in evaluating technical feasibility, risk, business value, operational impact, and support needs to recommend practical solutions.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and deductive reasoning skills, with the ability to assess business processes, data flows, and system dependencies to identify gaps and strengthen cross-system outcomes.
· Collaborative working style with the ability to build trusted relationships across business, technology, vendor, and application owner groups.
· Ability to work independently and prioritize incidents, enhancements, support requests, and project work based on urgency, business impact, and risk.
· Experience with eDiscovery, legal technology, compliance workflows, or related systems is preferred when tied to integration, reporting, data movement, or operational compliance.
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Repetitive movement of hands and fingers for typing and/or writing.
