[About the role]

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team, focusing on driving growth and expanding our enterprise business across the EMEA region. This strategic role offers the opportunity to build and manage a diverse portfolio of customers, acquire new accounts, ensure renewals, and capitalize on upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts. In a fast-paced, start-up-like environment, you will play a pivotal role in delivering ProtoPie’s value proposition to a wide range of industries, fostering long-term relationships, and contributing to our continued success.


[Responsibilities]

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters, building and nurturing strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Take full ownership of the sales cycle—prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing new business, ensuring seamless customer onboarding and ongoing satisfaction.
  • Drive prospecting efforts to identify, qualify, and convert new leads into closed deals, contributing to revenue growth in the EMEA region.
  • Identify, qualify, and manage horizontal and vertical expansion opportunities within existing accounts, including upselling additional licenses and services to maximize customer success and revenue.
  • Work closely with the Customer Success Manager (CSM), Product Trainers, and Technical Solutions Engineers to ensure smooth onboarding, high adoption rates, and a superior customer experience throughout the lifecycle.
  • Regularly track account health, monitor key performance metrics, and provide detailed reports on account status and sales performance to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Champion ProtoPie’s solutions, ensuring that customers fully realize the product's value, drive ROI, and achieve their goals using ProtoPie’s platform.


[Qualifications]

Must

  • 5+ years of proven experience in B2B/Enterprise SaaS sales with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding quotas in an Account Management or similar sales role.
  • Strong background in selling to design, engineering, or product teams, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and compellingly.
  • Expertise in building, managing, and optimizing sales pipelines, ensuring successful conversion of leads into long-term customers.
  • Strong experience with CRM and sales automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, Apollo, HubSpot, etc.) to track opportunities, manage workflows, and ensure sales processes run smoothly.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels within customer organizations.
  • A strong focus on delivering measurable outcomes, driving revenue growth, and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to travel within the EMEA region without restrictions to meet clients and attend business development events.

Plus

  • Experience with design and creative platforms like Figma, Unity, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar, and an understanding of creative workflows and needs.
  • Previous experience working with customers in industries such as automotive, medtech, robotics, or similar sectors.
  • Fluency in German and/or French is a plus for engaging with a broader client base across EMEA.

[Working Arrangements]

  • 10 AM to 7 PM CET recommended but flexible
  • Full-time position (during the first 3 months—the probation period, the employee will receive 100% of their salary).
  • Office: TBD
