[About the role]

We are seeking a passionate and technically adept Cloud Product Owner to lead the product vision, strategy, and execution for ProtoPie Cloud and its core platform capabilities.

This position will drive the roadmap for ProtoPie’s cloud-native workspace, enabling teams to collaborate, share, test, and deploy interactive prototypes seamlessly across devices and environments.

The ideal candidate combine strong product sense with enough technical literacy to have informed conversations with engineering. You will own the Cloud product's success metrics, deeply understand user needs, and make strategic prioritization decisions that balance user value, business impact, and technical investment.

You will contribute to ProtoPie's mission of bridging the gap between designers, engineers, and hardware by building the collaborative infrastructure and prototype lifecycle platform that powers the future of interactive prototyping.


In accordance with the company policy, the official title for this position is “Product Owner.



[Responsibilities]

  • Cloud Product Strategy & Roadmap: Own the vision and strategy for ProtoPie Cloud including workspace collaboration, sharing, testing workflows, and platform services aligned with ProtoPie's overall strategy.
  • Product Requirements & Prioritization: Translate user needs and business opportunities into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for product & engineering teams.
  • Backlog Management: Prioritize and manage the product backlog balancing new cloud platform features, reliability, security, technical debt, architectural improvements.
  • Feature Delivery & Iteration: Lead the end-to-end delivery of new cloud platform capabilities, continuously evaluating performance and driving rapid iteration based on product data and customer feedback.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineers on feasibility and trade-offs, architecture decisions, and implementation details, while collaborating with UX, Sales, and Marketing to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Product Enablement: Serve as the primary product expert for internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Support) regarding the capabilities and limitations of ProtoPie Cloud features and platform services.



[Qualifications]

Must

  • 5+ years of product management experience with demonstrated ownership of product outcomes (PO, PM, Founder role) or looking to transition to product management from engineering/development background.
  • Proven experience owning cloud-based SaaS products end-to-end — from discovery and strategy through delivery and growth.
  • Excellent communications skills in Korean & English (verbal and in writing), capable of discussing complex technical details with engineers and translating them for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Sufficient technical literacy to engage meaningfully with engineering on feasibility, system design, and trade-offs — without needing to drive implementation details.
  • Proven ability to translate high-level product vision into clear product requirements, specifications and prioritized backlog items.
  • Deep understanding of UX design & prototyping domain, and proven track record of driving product vision and go-to-market strategies in a technically complex B2B SaaS context.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage product analytics tools, SQL, and behavioral data to identify patterns and validate hypotheses.
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders cross-functionally without direct authority.
  • Willingness to engage directly with customers and travel abroad for meetings and workshops (No restrictions on travel).

Plus

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Previous experience as a software engineer, solutions architect, or in a similar hands-on technical role.
  • Experience with SaaS platform and technologies such as APIs, real-time protocols, or cloud infrastructure from a product perspective.
  • First hand experience working with design tools, prototyping tools, or similar creative software.
  • Strong curiosity and understanding of technologies relates to design collaboration platforms and Enterprise SaaS.

[Working Arrangements]

  • From 10 AM to 7 PM KST in HQ
  • Full-time position (during the first 3 months—the probation period, the employee will receive 100% of their salary).
  • HQ: Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea
