[About the role]

We are seeking an experienced sales-minded Business Development Manager with SaaS experience to develop strong relationships with customers, connect with key decision-makers and stakeholders, and close new business opportunities in EMEA.

Business Development Managers answer customer inquiries and identify new business opportunities. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams, like Customer Success, Product Development, and Technical Solutions Engineers, to increase the customer journey experience. 

ProtoPie is a designer tool; having strong product knowledge and understanding the value proposition will be crucial to the role's success.

[Role Objectives]

A successful Business Development Manager will create new business opportunities and build a strong pipeline of opportunities to achieve quota. 

[Key Responsibilities]

  • Develop new business opportunities or identify new business areas to meet sales quota.

  • Serve as the main point of contact.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships and develop trusted advisor relationships.

  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to optimize revenue.

  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of ProtoPie solutions according to customer needs and objectives.

  • Forecast and track quarterly sales results and annual forecasts.

  • Assist with challenging customer requests or escalations of issues as needed. 

  • Manage resellers if required.

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS Sales, Account Manager, or similar roles.

  • Proven track record meeting or exceeding quota.

  • Demonstrated outstanding performance in acquiring and selling to new customers.

  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the customer organization.

  • Understand the pain points of design teams in automotive, IT, games, and biomedical industries.

  • Experience in delivering customer-focused solutions.

  • Ability to communicate and work well with Marketing, Product, and Customer Support teams.

  • Experience in UI/UX design work, with an understanding of the role and value of prototypes in the design process. 

  • English proficiency.

  • Strong listening and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.

  • Work cross-functionally and be a team player.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

  • Ability to travel occasionally abroad/internationally or within an assigned territory (No restrictions on travel or Visa restrictions, and could be reasons for disqualification)

  • The position is open in the UK, preferably as a London resident. 

  • We do not require strong visual design skills, but we expect strong logical thinking and a willingness to learn low-code knowledge.

  • Experience in teaching or presenting to designers.

  • Experience using ProtoPie and the confidence to deliver basic training to beginners or middle-level ProtoPie users.

  • Experience in Salesforce.

  • Native or fluent German and/or French communication skills (writing and verbal).

[Working Arrangements]
  • Flexible working hours (Generally from 10 AM to 7 PM).
  • Full-time position (during the first 3 months—the probation period, the employee will receive 100% of their salary).
  • HQ: Itaewon, Seoul, South Korea
