[About the role]

As a Product Designer, you will leverage your subject matter expertise to address a variety of common business challenges. You will tackle moderately complex problems, provide analysis, and offer limited project direction. You will make informed decisions within established practices and procedures, evaluate unique circumstances, and make recommendations accordingly.

In the Design Team, you will design the end-to-end experience of the ProtoPie products, especially ProtoPie Cloud, collaborating closely with agile team members such as PMs, Engineers, and QAs. We are seeking a passionate product designer with over 6 years of professional experience in software companies.

This position is based in Seoul, South Korea, and requires candidates to either reside in or plan to relocate to South Korea.


[Responsibilities]

  • Lead the design strategy and execution for ProtoPie Cloud and other SaaS-based features, focusing on collaborative workflows and a seamless user experience
  • Discover and define user problems within the context of a cloud-based application, including team collaboration, asset management, and design system integration
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and data teams to translate complex user needs into intuitive and scalable user interfaces
  • Design, prototype, and refine user flows and high-fidelity visuals, ensuring a consistent and delightful experience across the entire SaaS platform
  • Drive the design process independently from discovery to launch, prioritizing user needs, technical feasibility, and business growth

[Qualifications]

Must

  • 6+ years of professional experience as a product designer, in a software company, with significant experience on a SaaS or cloud-based product: Please attach your portfolio to the resume or application (Please use "Website link" for the portfolio submission)
    • A strong portfolio demonstrating your design process and outcomes, particularly in a B2B or team-oriented SaaS environment
  • Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail, including layout, typography, and interaction design
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and product strategy for scalable, multi-user platforms
  • Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative user research to inform design decisions for a cloud product.
  • Proficiency in prototyping tools and a strong ability to communicate complex interactions and flows
  • Proficiency in both English and Korean
  • Those who are free to travel abroad (No restrictions on travel, such as reasons for disqualification)

Plus

  • Experience designing complex, data-heavy, or collaborative interfaces (e.g., dashboards, team portals, or multi-user editing tools)
  • Knowledge of or experience with AI technologies and how they can be applied to enhance creative workflows in a cloud environment
  • A background in front-end development or a solid understanding of the technical architecture of SaaS products

[Working Arrangements]

  • From 10 AM to 7 PM KST in HQ
  • Full-time position (during the first 3 months—the probation period, the employee will receive 100% of their salary).
  • HQ: Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea
