Growth Marketing Manager (Korea/Japan)
Role Summary
As a Growth Marketing Manager for the Korean and Japanese markets, you will work together with our global Marketing team and be responsible for growing our brand awareness and generating leads and website conversions in these local markets.
We are looking for a driven and hungry Growth Marketing Manager with a broad skill-set in online and offline marketing, and a proven track record of successfully driving growth for a SaaS solution in Korea and Japan.
You may work from our head office in Seoul, South Korea, or if based in Japan, work remotely.
Responsibilities
Full‑Funnel Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Led end-to-end campaign strategy and execution across Korea and Japan, seamlessly blending digital and offline channels—social, email, ads, webinars, offline events—for consistent storytelling and smooth prospect progression.
- Developed localized assets, including emails, landing pages, ads, and social posts, and integrated CRM systems to streamline lead capture and reporting processes.
Social Media & Channel Marketing
- Manage and orchestrate marketing across owned channels, including X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, handling both organic editorial and paid campaigns. This includes content calendar planning, community engagement, ad optimization, and aligning regional content with global brand voice.
Localization & Cultural Adaptation
- Localize global campaigns through language adaptation (Korean, Japanese, English), culturally relevant visuals, and tailored messaging.
- Coordinate co-marketing initiatives with local reseller partners, influencers, (design) agencies, and on-ground activations.
Performance Analytics & Continuous Optimization
- Define and track key metrics (lead volume, CAC, conversion rates, ROI), conduct analysis, deliver results to stakeholders, and optimize campaigns for improved effectiveness and constantly share the insights with marketing and sales teams.
Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner across global Marketing, DesignStrategy, Creative Technologies and Sales teams to align on strategy, content creation, prospecting plans, and lead handoff mechanisms.
Requirements
Must-Have
- Proven track record (3+ years) of growth marketing campaigns in a SaaS company or other relevant business
- Must be fluent in Korean, Japanese and English (writing and verbal).
- Experience of digital marketing activities (including email, social media, content, paid ads, webinars).
- Experience of online and offline event marketing (including organizing and facilitating events, collaborations with vendors and thought leaders).
- Ambitious, driven and outgoing, as this role includes interacting and meeting with our customers through webinars, social media and online communities, as well offline on e.g. events.
- Ability to both strategize and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Additional Qualifications (Plus)
- Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Seoul, South Korea. (No relocation support will be provided)
- Growth Mindset: Experience working with Product‑Led Growth (PLG) strategies in B2B/Enterprise SaaS environments.
- Startup Agility: Proven ability operating in fast-paced startup environments, particularly in SaaS / tech contexts.
- Global & Collaborative: Experience working in global companies with international teams, enabling seamless collaboration across cultures and time zones.
- Vertical Markets: Experience targeting verticals such as automotive, high-tech, IoT, MedTech, and robotics — aligning with ProtoPie’s global customer base across these industries.
- MarTech & Social Tools Expertise: Hands-on proficiency with social media platforms and marketing technologies such as Salesforce, Drip, along with collaboration tools like Slack and Jira.

Working Arrangement
- Flexible working hours (generally from 8 AM to 5 PM KST).
- Full-time position (during the first 3 months—the probation period, the employee will receive 100% of their salary).
