[About the role]

As a Web Designer in the Design Strategy Team, you'll take care of end-to-end experience of ProtoPie websites including marketing & sales landing pages as well as ProtoPie instructions. This role is crucial to deliver value proposition and seamless experience of ProtoPie to customers since the website is the main touch point of ProtoPie.

[Responsibilities]

• Responsible for end-to-end design process to design website including user research, information architecture, wireframing, graphic design, interaction design and implementation.
• Design responsive web services, which are accessible through various devices like desktop and mobile devices.
• Run user researches and analyze visitor behavior data to capture out the needs and validate new ideas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such marketing, engineering, sales, and sales support teams.
• Revamp websites to meet customers’ needs and design trends.
• Plan and implement marketing landing pages to support sales and marketing activities.

[Qualifications]

Must

• 5 or more professional experience as a web designer
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic for supporting designer’s communities
• Logical thinking and familiar with rapid prototyping methodology
• Great visual design skillset to make attractive outcomes
• Native or fluent in English communication verbally and literally
• Located in Vancouver and legally eligible to work in Vancouver (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or holding a valid Work Permit)
• Portfolio is required for application: We recommend you to select 3 projects at most and explain 1) what problem you wanted to solve, 2) what solutions you came up with and what final solution you chose, and 3) what was the evaluation of the result.

Plus

• Experience of advanced prototyping tools like ProtoPie, Framer and Origami
• Quantitative data analysis capability using tools like Google Analytics and Amplitude
• Able to code websites and have a good understanding of programming
• Understand functional and situational accessibility concepts

[Working Arrangements]

• 10 AM to 7 PM PST recommended but flexible
• Full-time position (during the first 3 months—the probation period, the employee will receive 100% of their salary).
• Office: Greater Vancouver (TBD)
