[About the role]


We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Community Experience Manager to architect the entire ecosystem of interactions for ProtoPie users. This strategic role involves analyzing the landscape where ProtoPie operates, designing user touchpoints, and defining strategies to enhance our visibility and utilization. You will be responsible for building and nurturing a thriving global community by fostering engagement, driving growth, and creating a supportive environment for our users.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of community building, a knack for creating meaningful connections, and experience in designing user-centric systems. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones—including customer support, sales, marketing, and product—to deliver impactful strategies for ProtoPie’s ecosystem and communities. Please note, this role focuses on the ecosystem surrounding the product, not on designing the ProtoPie tool itself.



[Responsibilities]

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to build, grow, and engage ProtoPie's global community across online and offline platforms.
  • Plan and coordinate global community programs, including online/offline events, meetups, and ambassador initiatives, assisting with project coordination and setup.
  • Conduct user-centric research to deeply understand customer pain points, needs, and the overall user journey within the community.
  • Create and manage engaging content and design visual assets to foster a vibrant and supportive community environment.
  • Analyze the broader ecosystem to identify and design strategic touchpoints that enhance ProtoPie's visibility and user adoption.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, sales, and support teams (in multiple time zones) to align community initiatives with core business objectives.
  • Translate community feedback and research insights into actionable strategies for various departments.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key community engagement metrics to measure impact and inform future product and marketing decisions


[Qualifications]

Must

  • 2+ years in community management / organizing events (i.e: hackathons, clubs etc)
    • Students who are in their last 2 semesters or recent graduates are also welcome!
  • Academic backgrounds
    • Design Management / Design Strategy
    • Interaction Design / Multimedia Design
    • HCI/UX
    • Industrial Design / Product Design
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English
  • Located in Vancouver and legally eligible to work in Vancouver (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or holding a valid Work Permit)

Plus

  • Experience of ProtoPie or other prototyping tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication in Korean
  • Community experience like founding, mentoring and managing

[Working Arrangements]

  • Location: Onsite WeWork Burnaby - 6060 Silver Dr, Burnaby, BC V5H 0H5, Canada
  • Working Hours: 10 - 7pm local time
  • Duration/Expected period: Around 21 weeks (until 2025 December)
  • Hourly Rate: $18.75 CAD
