[About the role]

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner / Manager to lead the development and delivery of cutting-edge AI features and solutions for the ProtoPie ecosystem. As a member in the Product team, you will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define, prioritize, and execute on an AI roadmap that aligns with business objectives and customer needs. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep understanding of AI technologies, a customer-centric product mindset, and excellent execution and effective communication skills.

This position is based in Canada and requires candidates to reside in Canada, ideally in Vancouver.


[Responsibilities]

  • Define AI Product Vision:
    • Articulate a clear vision, strategy aligning user and business problems
  • Drive Product Delivery:
    • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of AI solutions, aligning execution with the product vision and business goals
  • Prioritize Requirements:
    • Prioritize features using data-driven and research-based insights
  • Product Documentation and Backlog:
    • Create detailed Product Requirement Documentation (PRD) to guide implementation and hit goals
    • Maintain and update the product backlog reflecting changing priorities
  • User and Market Awareness:
    • Conduct data analysis, extract insights, and provide conclusions with visualizations
    • Engage with users to delve deeper into problems
    • Stay ahead of AI trends and ensure the product leverages emerging technologies to meet market demands.


[Qualifications]

Must

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in product management, startup co-founder or similar technical role
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, technologies, and applications (e.g., natural language processing, generative AI, computer vision, predictive technologies)
  • Experience with using and integrating LLMs to deliver products and features
  • Experience building a team for AI capabilities
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Native / Fluent in English
  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent

Plus

  • Experience driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions
  • Experience managing day-to-day product direction
  • Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance, or Marketing
  • Proficient in Korean

[Working Arrangements]

  • 10 AM to 7 PM PST recommended but flexible
  • Full-time position (during the first 3 months—the probation period, the employee will receive 100% of their salary).
  • HQ: Itaewon, Seoul, South Korea
