About The Role
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our 40 Rooms department in a full-time, hourly capacity. As a key member of our team, you will ensure the cleanliness and presentation of our spaces, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for all. This role requires an individual who takes pride in their work, has a keen eye for detail, and excels in maintaining high cleanliness standards. Communication in English is essential to succeed in this position.
What You'll Do
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards and protocols.
- Restock and replenish room supplies such as towels, amenities, and bedding.
- Inspect rooms and report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Ensure adherence to safety and hygiene guidelines while handling cleaning products and equipment.
- Support the team in organizing housekeeping activities and ensuring timely room turnovers.
- Provide exceptional service and respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
