About the Role

We are hiring a Filmmaker to capture and share the Aalo story. You will document our factory, our hardware, and our people. You will create content across many formats: short-form social video, long-form documentary pieces, launch films, recruiting content, and event coverage. This role is open-ended by design. We want a creative generalist who can own projects from concept to final cut.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and edit video content for Aalo's channels and campaigns
• Document engineering milestones, factory operations, and company events
• Produce short-form content for social platforms and long-form content for YouTube and press
• Collaborate with the brand and marketing team on creative direction and storytelling
• Manage production logistics, gear, footage libraries, and post-production workflows

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in filmmaking, videography, or video production
• Strong editing skills in professional software (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
• A portfolio or reel that shows your range and storytelling ability
• Ability to work on-site in Austin, TX and travel for shoots when needed
• Comfort in a fast-paced, hands-on hardware environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with motion graphics, color grading, or sound design
• Experience with photography in addition to video
• Experience with documentary, industrial, or technology storytelling
• Familiarity with social media content strategy and platform-native formats
• Interest in energy, nuclear technology, or hard tech
