Responsibilities:

●       Consult with clients to understand their desired nail service and provide recommendations.

●       Perform manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, gel and polish applications, and related nail services.

●       Recommend and sell retail nail and skin care products based on client needs.

●       Build and maintain a loyal client base through excellent service and rebooking.

●       Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization standards for all tools, implements, and workstations in accordance with Washington State Department of Licensing requirements.

●       Stay current on the latest nail trends, techniques, and product knowledge through ongoing education.

●       Accurately document services rendered and product usage in the point-of-sale/scheduling system.

●       Collaborate with the spa team to deliver a seamless, welcoming client experience.

Requirements & Experience:

●       Valid Washington State Manicurist License in good standing.

●       One or more years of experience as a licensed nail technician preferred.

●       Strong technical skills across manicure, pedicure, and nail enhancement services.

●       Excellent communication and customer service skills.

●       Ability to build rapport with clients and generate repeat business.

●       Must be able to work 1 Saturday per month.

Physical Requirements:

●       This position requires prolonged sitting and repetitive use of hands and fingers.

●       Frequent bending, reaching, and fine motor movements when performing services.

●       Exposure to nail care chemicals, polishes, and related products.

●       Frequent talking and listening when consulting with clients.

Nail Technician

Location: Onsite - Nouveau Day Spa, Kennewick, WA

Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time

Compensation: 40% commission on services performed. In accordance with Washington's Equal Pay and Opportunities Act (RCW 49.58.110), Nouveau Day Spa guarantees that total commission earnings will meet or exceed the applicable Washington State minimum wage for all hours worked.
