Akrapoint is hiring for Sales Coordinator positions of all levels.

SALES COORDINATOR I

Department: Commercial Operations
Reports To: Commercial Operations Manager, Chief Risk Officer
Base Salary Range: $55,000–$65,000
Target Discretionary Bonus: Generally ~$6,000 – $50,000 depending on supported individual and company performance.

Position Summary

The Sales Coordinator I supports equipment finance transactions from application through funding and booking. The role works closely with Sales, Credit, customers, and vendors to coordinate documentation, maintain accurate transaction data, identify missing or inconsistent information, and help ensure deals are processed efficiently and in accordance with approved terms and Company procedures.


Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Coordinate assigned equipment finance transactions from application through documentation, funding, and booking.
  • Review applications, transaction, and borrower information for completeness, accuracy, and consistency; obtain missing customer, vendor, equipment, and deal information.
  • Accurately enter and maintain customer, transaction, equipment, and payment information in Company systems.
  • Perform required customer, business, identity, fraud, and other verification checks in accordance with Company procedures.
  • Collect, prepare, track, and review customer and vendor documentation, including invoices, equipment information, titles/MSOs, insurance, and payment instructions.
  • Read and interpret invoices and equipment information.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Credit to ensure transaction terms, documentation, and closing requirements are consistent with approved terms and conditions.
  • Serve as an initial quality-control checkpoint by identifying data errors, documentation discrepancies, potential fraud indicators, and other issues requiring correction or escalation.
  • Verify required documentation and payment information before submitting transactions for funding and booking.
  • Provide timely, professional support to Sales, customers, vendors, Credit, and other internal teams while effectively managing multiple transactions and deadlines.
  • Maintain knowledge of Company products, policies, procedures, and systems; support team coverage and contribute to process and workflow improvements.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • Generally 0 - 3 years direct equipment finance, commercial lending or sale-coordination experience. 
  • Financial administration, vendor-finance, documentation, titling, or insurance experience may be helpful.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong customer-service orientation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound basic math and logical-reasoning skills.
  • Ability to learn and understand financial terminology. 
  • High degree of accountability and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; working Excel skills required.
  • CRM, lending-system, Salesforce or comparable system experience preferred.


SALES COORDINATOR II


Department: Commercial Operations
Reports To: Commercial Operations Manager, Chief Risk Officer
Base Salary Range: $65,000–$75,000

Position Summary

The Sales Coordinator II independently manages equipment finance transactions from application through funding and booking. The role supports higher production volumes and broader transaction complexity while exercising sound judgment, resolving routine issues, maintaining strong quality standards, and serving as a resource to less experienced coordinators.


Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Independently coordinate assigned equipment finance transactions from application through documentation, funding, and booking.
  • Manage a full transaction pipeline, including higher-volume sales relationships and transactions of varying complexity.
  • Review and maintain customer, transaction, equipment, documentation, and payment information for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Perform required verification and quality-control procedures and identify discrepancies, potential fraud indicators, or other issues requiring correction or escalation.
  • Anticipate documentation, customer, vendor, Credit, and funding requirements and proactively resolve routine transaction issues or closing delays.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Credit to ensure transactions remain consistent with approved terms and recognize changes requiring additional review or approval.
  • Communicate independently with customers, vendors, Sales, Credit, and other internal teams to resolve outstanding requirements and move transactions efficiently toward closing.
  • Maintain high production, accuracy, responsiveness, and service standards while managing competing priorities.
  • Provide backup, guidance, and cross-training support to less experienced Sales Coordinators.
  • Identify and contribute to process, system, automation, and workflow improvements.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • Generally 2–6 years of applicable equipment finance, commercial lending, transaction coordination, lending operations, or related experience. Direct equipment finance or commercial finance experience strongly preferred.
  • Vendor-finance, documentation, titling, insurance, or lien-perfection experience helpful.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple transactions and competing deadlines.
  • Strong working knowledge of equipment finance processes, terminology, and transaction documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify inconsistencies, assess routine operational issues, and determine when escalation is appropriate.
  • Strong professional communication and customer-service skills with the ability to work effectively across Sales, Credit, customers, and vendors.
  • High degree of accountability and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
  • CRM, lending-system, Salesforce, or comparable system experience preferred.


SALES COORDINATOR III

Position Summary

The Sales Coordinator III is a senior commercial operations professional responsible for managing high-volume and more complex equipment finance transactions while serving as a senior resource to the Sales Coordination team. The role combines strong individual production with sound judgment, problem solving, quality control, leadership, and process improvement.


Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Independently manage high-volume, high-priority, and more complex equipment finance transactions from application through funding and booking.
  • Support important sales relationships and coordinate effectively across Sales, Credit, customers, vendors, and other internal teams.
  • Serve as a senior resource for transaction, documentation, data, customer, vendor, and process issues.
  • Exercise strong judgment in resolving issues and determining when escalation to Credit, management, legal, fraud, or other specialized review is required.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, data quality, policy adherence, and funding controls under demanding production requirements.
  • Identify transaction risks, recurring errors, and control weaknesses and recommend appropriate process or system improvements.
  • Train, mentor, and support Sales Coordinator I and II employees and assist with onboarding and cross-training.
  • Assist Commercial Operations leadership with workload balancing, coverage, transaction prioritization, and department initiatives.
  • Contribute to development and improvement of procedures, controls, automation, systems, and workflow.
  • Model strong accountability, integrity, teamwork, communication, and professional judgment.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Generally 4–10+ years of applicable equipment finance, commercial lending, transaction coordination, lending operations, or related experience.
  • Significant direct equipment finance or commercial finance experience strongly preferred.
  • Vendor-finance, documentation, titling, insurance, or lien-perfection experience helpful.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage a high-volume transaction pipeline while maintaining strong accuracy and service.
  • Strong knowledge of equipment finance processes, terminology, documentation, and operational requirements.
  • Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and escalation judgment.
  • Ability to identify transaction risks, inconsistencies, and control issues beyond routine processing.
  • Strong professional communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and support less experienced team members.
  • High degree of integrity, accountability, discretion, and professional judgment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
