We are seeking an experienced HFM Functional Support Analyst to support, maintain, and enhance our Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) application. This role serves as the bridge between finance and IT, ensuring the system operates efficiently, supports business processes, and meets reporting requirements.

Location: Hyderabad, India (Hybrid/Remote)
Experience: 7 years+
Compensation: Up to 35LPA
Schedule: Monday to Friday

What You'll Do:

• Provide day to day functional support for HFM, including issue resolution, user assistance, and system monitoring
• Act as the primary point of contact for finance users regarding HFM-related questions, issues, and enhancements
• Manage and support financial close processes, including consolidations, currency translations, and intercompany eliminations
• Troubleshoot data, metadata, and consolidation issues within HFM
• Coordinate and execute system maintenance activities such as metadata updates, rules changes, and security management
• Support data loads, data validations, and reconciliation processes
• Partner with Finance to gather and document business requirements and translate them into system solutions
• Work with technical teams on system upgrades, patches, and integrations with ERP systems
• Develop and maintain documentation including process flows, user guides, and support procedures
• Participate in testing activities including UAT and regression testing for system changes
• Ensure data integrity, system controls, and compliance with internal policies
  
  

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience supporting Oracle Hyperion Financial Management
• Strong understanding of financial consolidation processes and accounting principles
• Hands-on experience with HFM metadata, rules, data forms, and security
• Experience supporting financial close cycles in a corporate environment
• Knowledge of IFRS reporting standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have:

• Experience with other Hyperion tools such as FDMEE or Smart View
• Basic SQL or data analysis skills
• Experience working in a SOX-compliant environment
• Prior experience in a global organization with multi-currency consolidation
  
  

Example Day-to-Day Scenario:
A finance user reports that intercompany balances are not eliminating correctly. You would review the HFM rules and data submissions, identify a mapping issue in metadata, correct it, reload the data, and validate that eliminations process correctly before close deadlines.
