Account Coordinator

Allied Global Marketing is hiring an Account Coordinator in our Toronto office.

Marketing & Promotional responsibilities:

Reporting to an Account Lead, the Account Coordinator is responsible for the following duties:

  • Support the ideation and execution of publicity and promotional campaigns for a portfolio of clients in the entertainment industry
  • Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, promotional partners, community leaders, and grassroots organizations
  • Coordinate digital and in-person promotions, including managing partner communication, timelines, and deliverables
  • Draft copy for pitches, press materials, social content, and internal/client documents
  • Support client communications including status documents, meeting notes, and day-to-day correspondence
  • Track and compile media coverage, social performance, and campaign recaps/reports
  • Maintain contact lists and assist with media and influencer outreach and coordination
  • Assist with screening coordination and management in markets across Canada
  • Support in the planning and execution of local events including screenings, press tours, premieres, and special activations
  • Provide on-site support at events and screenings, with evening and weekend work as required
  • Monitor social trends, cultural moments, and competitive activity to identify campaign opportunities
  • Support multiple account leads simultaneously while providing guidance to interns

General Responsibilities include:

  • Develop strong client relationships by consistently meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations
  • Administrative duties including shipping/receiving, invoicing, and general office coordination
  • Maintain organized files, trackers, and documentation across accounts and campaigns
  • Assist with the scheduling and note-taking for internal and client meetings
  • Know the local market and provide relevant insights to the internal team and clients


Job Qualification/Requirements:

  • 1+ years full time or relevant intern experience in marketing, publicity, and/or promotions, preferably in the entertainment industry
  • A genuine passion for film and entertainment
  • Self-starter who excels in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Strong ability to multi-task and manage multiple clients/projects at the same time
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Stellar written and verbal communications skills to engage press, influencers, promotional partners, general public audiences, and internal teams
  • Creative and strategic thinker
  • Availability for occasional weekend/evening events
  • Interest in the latest digital platforms, apps, and social media trends
  • Knowledge of the Toronto area including local media outlets, influencers, events, and organizations

Work Arrangement:

  • This is a hybrid position with 1-2 required in-office days per week, in addition to occasional evening/weekend screenings and events. Because of the nature of the work, additional in-office days may be required as needed. Remaining days are worked remotely on company provided hardware.


Salary:

  • The annual salary range for this full-time position is CAD 42,000-47,000
