About the Role
The Vice President of Sales is a key leader responsible for defining and executing the company’s enterprise-wide sales strategy to drive profitable growth, market leadership, and exceptional customer experience. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this leader provides strategic direction and operational leadership for all sales channels, sales talent, and revenue-driving initiatives across Anthony & Sylvan Pools.


General Summary of Position

This role will lead the evolution of a high-performing, consultative sales organization by aligning people, process, technology, and data to deliver predictable results while reinforcing Anthony & Sylvan’s premium brand, values, and commitment to homeowners.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Enterprise Sales Strategy & Leadership

  • Establish and execute a comprehensive, multi-year sales strategy aligned with Anthony & Sylvan’s business objectives, growth plans, and brand promise
  • Translate company goals into clear annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue targets and performance expectations
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to the CCO, COO and Executive Leadership Team on demand outlook, pricing strategy, capacity alignment, and market expansion
  • Develop a rigorous forecasting and pipeline management discipline to drive predictability, transparency, and accountability

Revenue & Performance Management

  • Own enterprise sales performance, including leads-to-conversion, close rates, average contract value, backlog health, and customer lifetime value
  • Partner with Marketing to ensure strong alignment across demand generation, lead quality, conversion strategy, and customer journey optimization
  • Collaborate with COO and divisional leaders to align sales commitments with delivery capacity and customer experience standards
  • Drive continuous improvement through data, analytics, and performance dashboards

Sales Organization & Talent Leadership

  • Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing sales leadership team, Design Consultants, Renovations Specialists, Client Advisors, and inside sales talent
  • Create, scale, and optimize the inside sales team to support demand generation, lead nurturing, appointment setting, and conversion performance
  • Build a strong succession pipeline and future-ready sales leadership bench
  • Establish clear role expectations, performance metrics, and coaching rhythms across the sales organization
  • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, collaboration, and customer-centric selling

Sales Process, Tools & Enablement

  • Design and continuously improve a consistent, scalable, and customer-focused sales process
  • Champion effective use of Clarity (CRM) and sales enablement tools to support visibility, productivity, and insight-driven decision-making
  • Partner with HR and Operations on training programs, onboarding, and continuous development for sales professionals
  • Identify and implement best practices that improve conversion, cycle time, and overall effectiveness

Pricing, Incentives & Compensation

  • Partner with Finance and HR to develop and oversee sales compensation and incentive programs that align performance, behavior, and company objectives
  • Ensure compensation plans are competitive, compliant, and motivating while supporting margin and growth goals
  • Regularly review pricing strategy, discounting guidelines, and approval frameworks

Market Awareness & Competitive Intelligence

  • Maintain deep understanding of customer segments, homeowner needs, regional market dynamics, and competitive landscape
  • Use insights to inform sales strategy, messaging, pricing, and product positioning
  • Monitor trends in consumer behavior, home improvement, and luxury/premium services

Brand & Customer Experience Champion

  • Represent Anthony & Sylvan as a visible, trusted leader committed to professionalism, integrity, and excellence
  • Ensure the sales experience reflects the company’s brand, values, and promise at every customer touchpoint

QUALIFICATIONS – Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Required:

  • 15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including senior or enterprise-level responsibility
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth in a consultative, solutions-based sales environment
  • Experience leading large, multi-location or multi-market sales teams
  • Demonstrated ability to align sales strategy with operations, marketing, and finance
  • Strong executive presence with experience working at the C-suite and board level


Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA or advanced business education a plus
  • Experience in home improvement, construction, luxury services, or design/build environments
  • Deep familiarity with CRM platforms and sales analytics tools
  • Experience designing and managing complex compensation and incentive structures
