About the role

We are looking for a Senior Azure Databricks Developer to focus on hands-on coding and implementation of data solutions. This role demands expertise in Azure Databricks for developing efficient workflows, combined with Airtable for data organization and Superblocks for rapid prototyping. The emphasis is on delivering high-quality, maintainable code to enable data-driven decisions in supply chain, analytics, and AI applications.

What you will do:

• Develop, test, and deploy data pipelines, notebooks, and scripts in Azure Databricks, utilizing Spark and Delta Lake with Azure storage integrations.
• Integrate Airtable bases with Azure Databricks via APIs, webhooks, and automation scripts for data ingestion and transformation.
• Build and iterate on custom applications in Superblocks, connecting to Azure Databricks and Airtable for streamlined user experiences.
• Write optimized code in Python or SQL to handle large-scale data processing and automate routine tasks.
• Debug and enhance existing Azure Databricks jobs, ensuring reliability and integration with Azure services like Blob Storage or SQL Database.
• Work closely with development teams to incorporate feedback, perform testing, and deploy solutions using agile methodologies.
• Document codebases, processes, and contribute to version control practices in a collaborative environment.
• Adapt solutions to regional needs, such as handling multilingual data or complying with local privacy laws.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in software/data development, with 3+ years in Azure Databricks development.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and Git for version control.
• Experience with data streaming/batch processing in Azure environments.
• Strong communication skills for remote teamwork, prevalent in Latin America's distributed IT workforce.

Nice if you have:

• Azure Databricks Certified Developer or similar Azure certifications.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, low-code platforms, and data warehousing (e.g., Azure Synapse).
• Background in DevOps and agile practices.
