Associate Consultant

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled analyst with entry to mid-level experience, including recent graduates, to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in assessing and developing requirements to support technology solutions' development, enhancement, and implementation. We operate in a fast-paced environment and require a quick learner candidate eager to take on new challenges and ready to assume responsibilities. Familiarity with using language models is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed business requirements for software implementation projects.
  • Create comprehensive "As-Is" and "To-Be" business process model and notation documentation, including detailed workflow diagrams.
  • Ensure effective software selection, configuration, implementation, and testing by mapping requirements to a phased implementation schedule.
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of existing business processes, operations, and organizational structures, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
  • Collaborate with client agencies, providing advice, consultation, and technical assistance during project implementation while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Work closely with client users to define precise business requirements, resolve issues, and translate requirements into highly specified system design documents.
  • Coordinate system design and implementation requirements with vendors.
  • Assess business opportunities, define problems, and propose effective solutions.
  • Evaluate various software and hardware systems, identifying new technologies that enhance operations.
  • Collaborate with departments as part of the leadership/management team, supporting efforts to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Produce documentation, including business requirements and other necessary project documentation.
  • Create design documents for reviewed applications encompassing business requirements.
  • Assisted systems analysts and developers in developing functional specifications, test plans, and scripts.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining computer information systems.
  • Possess understanding of business operations, processes, and procedures and methods for analyzing and evaluating them.
  • Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills when interacting with internal and external clients and vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in developing requirements, design documents, and other relevant life cycle documents.
  • Ability to create precise and effective technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess the feasibility and suitability of information technology projects.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Industry knowledge and understanding of information technology principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with language models is a plus.
  • Willingness to work on stand-alone projects with specific objectives and collaborate with the current leadership/management team.
  • Location: Remote in the United Stated, but willing to travel as needed.
