Student Content Creator

About the role

The Student Content Creator helps tell the Bethel story by creating engaging, on-brand content for university social media

platforms—especially Instagram, TikTok, and video-based content. This role also includes attending campus and student events and posting on personal social media accounts as a Bethel ambassador.


You’ll work closely with the Marketing and Communications social media team to brainstorm, create, and publish content that captures the student experience while supporting Bethel’s marketing goals. The position offers students creative ownership and hands-on experience in content creation, social strategy, and brand storytelling.


Qualifications

  • Must be a current Bethel student
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms (strong understanding of TikTok/Reels trends is a plus)
  • Experience creating content from concept through publication
  • Basic video production skills (shooting, editing via apps or software)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and follow Bethel’s brand voice and visual standards
  • Self-motivated and proactive in taking initiative


Travel: This position does not require travel.

3-5 hours per week
