About the role
We are seeking a results-driven, strategic Director of eCommerce to own and scale our digital revenue channel. This leader will drive end-to-end eCommerce strategy, from acquisition through retention, while optimizing site experience, merchandising, digital marketing, analytics, and operations. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution and cross-functional leadership. The ideal candidate understands how to scale profitably, build high-performing teams, and turn data into action. Reporting to the VP of Brio Pro, you will oversee and coordinate a diverse ecosystem of internal teams, agency partners, and dedicated project developers to execute against our digital roadmap.
What you'll do
Digital Revenue & P&L
- Own eCommerce revenue, contribution margin, and growth targets
- Forecast demand and develop revenue plans across DTC and digital marketplaces
- Manage CAC, LTV, AOV, conversion rate, and retention metrics
- Drive profitable scaling of paid and owned channels
Digital Marketing & Acquisition
- Oversee paid media (Meta, Google, TikTok, Affiliates, etc.)
- Optimize performance marketing efficiency and attribution models
- Partner on lifecycle marketing strategy (email, SMS, loyalty, subscriptions)
- Balance brand-building with performance ROI
Website & CRO
- Own site strategy, UX/UI optimization, and conversion rate improvements
- Lead A/B testing roadmap and personalization initiatives
- Improve site speed, checkout experience, and mobile performance
- Establish best practices in SEO and onsite merchandising
Merchandising & Customer Experience
- Align product assortment and pricing with digital performance insights
- Optimize digital merchandising, bundling, upsells, and subscription offers
- Improve customer journey from landing page to post-purchase
Analytics & Tech Stack
- Define foundational principles around data architecture and governance
- Oversee reporting dashboards and performance insights
- Manage eCommerce tech stack (Shopify, Klaviyo, subscriptions, etc.)
- Partner with engineering to establish CI/CD best practices where applicable
Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing eCommerce team
- Manage agencies and external vendors
- Foster a culture of accountability, experimentation, and speed
Qualifications
- 7+ years in eCommerce or digital leadership roles
- Experience owning a multi-million dollar DTC P&L
- Deep understanding of Shopify or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of paid acquisition and lifecycle marketing
- Financially strategic leader with full P&L accountability, skilled in budgeting & forecasting
- Experience scaling subscription or repeat-purchase businesses preferred
- Advanced analytical skills and data fluency
- Proven team leadership experience
