About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Lead Engineer – AI Security to lead the design and implementation of security frameworks for AI systems and platforms. This role will focus on securing AI/ML models, pipelines, and enterprise AI environments to enable safe, scalable, and compliant AI adoption across the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement security controls across the AI/ML model lifecycle
  • Integrate AI security within MLOps / LLMOps pipelines (CI/CD, guardrails, monitoring)
  • Partner with cloud, infrastructure, data, and application teams to embed AI threat models and mitigation strategies
  • Secure integration with IAM, secrets management, encryption, and data governance frameworks
  • Evaluate and implement tools for AI and model security
  • Lead investigation and response for AI-related threats such as model poisoning, hallucination risks, and data leakage
  • Develop security standards, architectures, and best practices for enterprise AI workloads


Required Skills & Expertise

Core Technical Skills

  • Strong programming: Python (advanced), Bash / PowerShell
  • Hands-on with ML frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow
  • Experience with Kubeflow or similar MLOps platforms
  • Understanding of adversarial ML / AI security (e.g., CleverHans)
  • Experience securing AI pipelines, APIs, and inference environments


Security & Domain Expertise

  • Cloud & application security
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Data protection, encryption, and key management
  • Malware analysis & digital forensics
  • Security operations and incident response

Good to Have

  • Experience with AWS SageMaker or Azure ML
  • Exposure to GenAI / LLM security frameworks
  • Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

12–15 years of overall experience, with:

  • 8+ years in security / IT domains
  • 3+ years in AI / ML security or related area

Certifications (Preferred)

  • CISSP / CCSP (ISC2)
  • AWS Security / DevOps certifications
  • Microsoft Security / Azure certifications (SC-100, AZ-500, AZ-400)
  • GIAC or DevSecOps certifications

Location Requirement: Candidates must currently reside within approximately 1–1.5 hours commuting distance of the local CBTS office or market they support. While this position offers hybrid flexibility, candidates are expected to be local to Ohio, Kentucky, or Indiana.


Salary Range :$110,000-130,000/per annum,

The compensation range in this posting reflects the Company’s good‑faith estimate at the time of publication. The applicable base pay range for any individual will be determined based on the candidate’s designated primary work location as well as factors including role scope and responsibilities, required qualifications, and the individual’s experience, education, skills, knowledge, and performance. Certain positions may also be eligible for additional compensation such as discretionary merit increases, bonuses, or sales‑based variable compensation in accordance with applicable plans and role requirements.
