About Central Rock Gym
Central Rock Gym isn’t just a climbing gym — it’s a community-powered space where confidence is built, limits are challenged, and everyone is welcome. From first-time climbers nervously tying in to seasoned athletes projecting hard routes, CRG is a place where people come to grow — physically, mentally, and socially.
Our gyms are vibrant, high-energy environments that combine world-class climbing with fitness, youth programs, and a strong sense of belonging. What truly sets us apart isn’t just the walls — it’s the people who create the experience every day.
What It's Like to Work at Central Rock Gym
As an Assistant General Manager, you’ll work closely with the General Manager to help drive the performance and growth of the gym across membership and day-use, climbing instruction, fitness, events, teams, and other services. You’ll take an active role in day-to-day operations, staff development, member experience, and community engagement while helping identify opportunities to strengthen and grow the business.
We encourage our leaders to bring an entrepreneurial mindset, take ownership of their responsibilities, and look for ways to make their gym and team better. As an AGM, you’re not simply supporting operations — you’re helping shape the culture, develop employees, solve problems, and create an environment where both staff and members thrive.
At Central Rock Gym, growth isn’t limited to our footprint. We invest in our people. Many of our leaders started at the front desk or on the floor and grew into management roles. The Assistant General Manager role is an opportunity to build broad operational and leadership experience while making a meaningful impact on the success of your gym. If you’re motivated, curious, and committed to excellence, there’s real opportunity here.
