About Cenvar Roofing & Solar

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various roofing applications and repair techniques, with the ability to restore and maintain structures effectively. This role requires proficiency in using power tools and a solid understanding of different types of roofing membranes and applications along with effective repair skills. The Repair Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all repairs are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

What you'll do

• Be able to fix and repair commercial roof applications including single ply, modified roofing, built-up roofing, and metal roofing.
• Utilize power tools such as a Leister hand welder safely and effectively for
• various repair projects.
• Assess needed repairs and provide an estimate of scope of materials and labor to complete repair immediately while on site.
• Utilize software platforms to log activity and input data to produce onsite reports to show and communicate with customers.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, company vehicle, and company provided tools while adhering to safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during repair processes and implement effective
• solutions.

Qualifications

• Must be experienced in multiple roof applications including single ply, modified roofing, built-up roofing, and metal roofing.
• Provide your own hand tools.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
• Requires excellent communication skills, written and verbal for customer interaction.
• Can be trained to use company software.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Must be able to travel extensively and occasional overnight stay.
