Product Marketing Manager

About Comp AI

Most companies still do compliance by hand: manual evidence collection, copy-pasted policies, audit prep that pulls engineers off the roadmap. Comp AI rebuilds that stack with AI agents that handle the busywork. We're an AI-native compliance and security platform. We launched in April 2025 and crossed millions in ARR with a lean team in under a year. Our AI agents collect evidence, draft and maintain policies, map controls, prep for audits, and continuously monitor posture against SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, and the frameworks our customers need next. Compliance is the wedge, not the ceiling. We're building toward continuous, AI-driven cybersecurity that is always on and improves the longer a customer uses it. We move fast and hold a high bar. The team is small enough that each person's work shows up directly in the product and the pace.

About the Role

We're hiring a Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to own the story: positioning, messaging, and the narrative that makes a buyer choose us over Vanta or Drata, across both compliance and the cybersecurity category we're moving into. You own how we explain what we do, why it matters, and why now.

This is the brain of our conversion engine. You decide what we say and how we say it, then you make it land everywhere it counts: the landing pages that turn paid traffic into pipeline, the launches that package each ship into something a buyer can act on, the battlecards and talk tracks the sales team carries into every call, and the monthly product newsletter that keeps customers and the broader base hooked. You'll pair with the Growth Engineer, who ships and tests the pages you write, to turn good copy into measured lift.

Most people think compliance is boring. Your job is to make people want to buy it. Buyers approach this category with a sigh; your job is to give them a reason to lean in. You'll live in sales calls and customer interviews, build a sharp read on the competition, and run the win/loss loop that tells us which messages actually move deals. We're hiring an experienced, high-judgment marketer because we respect the craft. Bring your point of view and the evidence to back it.

We're at Series A stage and scaling from 19 to 40 this year - real ownership, meaningful equity, and Florida no-state-income-tax take-home.

How We Use AI

  • AI is a force multiplier across your workflow: drafting and testing variants, synthesizing customer interviews and call transcripts, pulling competitive intel, and turning a launch into ten assets instead of three. Fluency is a ramp here, not a gate. If you're a sharp marketer who hasn't gone deep on these tools yet, we'll get you there fast.
  • You'll market an AI-native product, so you need to understand what our agents actually do well enough to make the value obvious to a technical buyer, not just repeat a feature list.
  • AI accelerates the work; your judgment owns what ships.

What You'll Do

Own positioning and messaging

  • Own how we position Comp AI across compliance and cybersecurity, and sharpen the contrast against Vanta, Drata, and whoever comes next.
  • Build the messaging hierarchy that everything else inherits from: the website, the deck, the emails, the talk tracks.
  • Translate a technical, AI-native product into language a buyer feels in their gut, without dumbing it down for a CISO.

Drive launches and enablement

  • Package every meaningful ship into a complete launch: landing page, demo script, sales talk track, and announcement, so nothing goes out half-told.
  • Arm the sales team with battlecards, objection handling, and a pitch deck that wins, then keep them current as the market moves.
  • Own the monthly product-update newsletter to customers and the base: content and cadence, written to drive cross-sell and keep us top of mind.

Convert traffic and close the loop

  • Write landing-page and vertical copy that converts paid traffic, and partner with the Growth Engineer who ships and tests it to find what actually lifts the number.
  • Run competitive intel and win/loss as an ongoing system, not a one-off deck, and feed what you learn back into positioning.
  • Tie your work to outcomes: show how positioning and copy moved win rate and conversion, and double down on what's working.

You May Be a Good Fit If You Have

  • 3-5+ years in B2B SaaS product marketing (technical or security-adjacent a plus).
  • The ability to get fluent fast in a technical category and speak credibly to a technical buyer - you can hold a real conversation about SOC 2, ISO 27001, or pentests with a CISO, even though you don't write code.
  • Sharp, fast writing. You make a category most people find boring genuinely interesting, and you ship copy on a real cadence.
  • A track record of moving the number. You can point to a specific result and the outcome it drove - win rate, conversion, pipeline, or deal velocity - because of positioning or messaging you owned.

Strong Candidates May Also Have

  • A habit of living in sales calls and customer interviews, because that's where the language that converts actually comes from.
  • A clear point of view on a category, plus the discipline to test it against evidence rather than fall in love with it.
  • Experience marketing against an entrenched competitor and taking real share with positioning, not just discounting.
  • Background in compliance, security, audit tooling, or another regulated domain (fintech, healthcare, public sector).
  • Experience building for technical buyers (security teams, engineering leaders, CTOs) and knowing what makes them trust a vendor.
  • Comfort owning a full launch end to end, from the narrative down to the landing page and the talk track.

How We Work

  • You think like an owner. The story is yours and the conversion numbers are yours.
  • You use AI to move faster and you stay responsible for what ships.
  • You'd rather ship a sharp page this week and test it than polish a messaging deck for a quarter.
  • You hold strong opinions on positioning and update them when the win/loss data says otherwise.

What This Role Is Not

  • Not a content-calendar seat. You own positioning, launches, and the conversion story, not a queue of blog posts for someone else's strategy.
  • Not a hand-off-to-an-agency role. You write the copy, build the battlecards, and run the win/loss loop yourself.
  • Not a brand-awareness role measured in impressions. You're measured in win rate, conversion, and pipeline.

Why Comp AI

  • Momentum you can feel: a Series A stage company scaling from 19 to 40 this year. You're joining as the engine spins up, not after.
  • Real ownership and scope. You own the entire conversion narrative across two categories, and your work shows up directly in the numbers.
  • Meaningful equity. You build value into something early and share in the upside.
  • Direct access to founders. Positioning decisions happen in conversation, not in a committee.
  • A state-of-the-art office in Aventura where the team builds together every day.

Compensation and Logistics
