Who we are:

For over 30 years, Conservation Northwest has worked to protect and connect wildlands across Washington and British Columbia while restoring iconic wildlife such as wolverines, wolves, fishers, lynx, mountain caribou, and grizzly bears.

Through tenacious yet pragmatic advocacy, on-the-ground science, and diverse collaborations, we’ve become Washington state’s premier wildlife and wildlands conservation organization.

We believe effective conservation requires both protecting what remains and restoring what’s been lost, while centering the voices of Tribes, rural communities, and those who steward and care for these landscapes.

The organization has accomplished this in part due to its strong and consistent financial position.  The organization has run surpluses and has substantial assets for an organization of its scale. It has received totally clean audits.  It also has consistently updated its financial and donor systems.

Our Mission: We protect, connect and restore wildlands and wildlife from the Washington Coast to the British Columbia Rockies.
