About the Job
At Dadosfera, we’re building a robust and scalable data platform that empowers organizations to make data-driven decisions with confidence. As a Senior Back-end Engineer, you will play a key role in automating critical product and infrastructure processes—specifically around deployment, billing, usage tracking, and continuous improvements.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement back-end solutions to support automated deployment workflows, infrastructure improvements, and scalability
- Develop and maintain automated billing and usage tracking systems in a multi-tenant SaaS environment
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data teams to continuously evolve the architecture of our platform
- Ensure high code quality through clean code practices, peer reviews, and testing (TDD/CI/CD)
- Build and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and Kubernetes
- Improve observability, reliability, and security across services
- Contribute to the definition and documentation of technical standards and best practices
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development in production environments
- Solid experience with Kubernetes (cluster management, Helm charts, troubleshooting)
- Hands-on with Terraform (module writing, state management, workspaces)
- Cloud experience with at least one provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) – including IAM and networking
- Strong understanding of API design (REST or GraphQL), authentication (OAuth, JWT), and versioning
- Proficient in unit and integration testing, with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Clean Code, SOLID principles, DDD, code reviews, and pair programming
- Comfortable with Docker (image optimization, registry management)
- Proficient in Git and common branching strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based)
- Ability to read technical documentation and write specs in English
- Experience with SaaS product development (billing, subscriptions, multi-tenancy)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous role as a startup founder or CTO
- Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK)
- Experience in event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, pub/sub)
- Knowledge of resilient microservice patterns (circuit breaker, retries)
- Understanding of application security principles (OWASP, network policies, vulnerability scanning)
- Contributions to open source projects
- Exposure to data infrastructure tools such as Airflow or Spark, and/or experience with Data & AI platforms
