Job Summary:

The Analyst I will be responsible for providing exceptional client service by answering basic client questions, assisting with fund transfers, maintaining CRM information, and generating performance reports. Additionally, the Analyst I will offer analytical support by attending client meetings, preparing reports and presentations, and entering data into financial planning software. The Analyst I will also support senior team members by creating financial plans and preparing materials for client meetings. The ideal candidate will have strong quantitative and analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required, along with a willingness to get licensed as a Financial Professional.


Duties/Responsibilities:


Client Service

  • Answers basic questions for clients or fields client calls to appropriate colleagues Assists with client requests for transfers of funds in and out of accounts
  • Enters or updates cost basis information
  • Fills out necessary forms for opening or maintaining accounts (if not performed by an Operations Specialist)
  • Interfaces with the broker-dealer or custodian to obtain information or account data and conveys service requests
  • Maintains information in the CRM system
  • Sets up and retrieves reports in the portfolio management system
  • Assists in generating performance reports

Analytical Support

  • Attend client meetings and take extensive notes
  • Analyzes client information and prepares reports and presentations
  • Enters information into financial planning software and prepares draft plans, with help from an Associate Advisor or Service Advisor
  • Research products and product pricing and contacts carriers for information
  • Research investment managers and investment services and their pricing

General Support

  • Supports senior team members by creating financial plans and helping prepare materials needed for client meetings and follow-ups
  • Develops expertise in financial planning and familiarity with developing financial plans for clients
  • Assisting clients with eMoney, creating Financial Plans, working on Tax inputting of data, and handling misc. tasks helping the Wealth Division.

Education, Experience, and Licensing:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
  • Willingness to get licensed as a Financial Professional required.
  • Motivated to follow the path of becoming a Financial Advisor required.
  • Internships or relevant work experience preferred.


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
  • This position is an in-office position.

As a full-time team member of the firm, you will be eligible to participate in several firm sponsored benefits. In addition, you will be entitled to accrue paid time off - starting at 120 hours each calendar year. We also close our office for 7 holidays, and have a floating holiday available for use as well.


  • 401k Employee Retirement Savings Plan will be available after 6 months of employment and a minimum of 1000 hours. Employee directed pre-tax and ROTH contributions available.
  • The 401k Employer Contribution begins on the 1st day of the quarter following six (6) months of employment with the firm. The company begins contributing a 3% Safe Harbor at that time, and employee contributions can begin at the same time. The company contributions are subject to a vesting schedule that are stated in the plan documents.
  • 401k Rollover options from a previous employer plan are immediately available and encouraged.
