Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician

Location: Tomball, Texas — Onsite

Reports To: Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC)

Position Overview

We are hiring a Certified Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to work onsite at our pharmacy in Tomball, Texas.

This is an onsite position and is not remote or hybrid. Candidates must be able to reliably report to our Tomball, Texas location for all scheduled shifts.

In this role, you will prepare sterile products using aseptic technique and follow USP <797> procedures in our cleanroom.

Responsibilities

• Compound sterile preparations in a USP <797>-compliant cleanroom
• Gown, garb, and maintain proper aseptic technique
• Calculate, label, and document each preparation accurately
• Complete cleanroom cleaning, sanitization, and quality checks
• Support inventory, dating, and workflow with the pharmacist and team
• Follow SOPs and report issues promptly

Requirements

• Active pharmacy technician license/registration as required by the state
• Sterile compounding certification (e.g., PTCB CSPT or equivalent sterile compounding certification)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and comfort with calculations and documentation
• Ability to work a full shift in cleanroom garb
• Reliable Monday–Friday availability, plus occasional Saturday availability
• Ability and willingness to work onsite in Tomball, Texas
• This position does not offer remote or hybrid work

Schedule

• Full-time or part-time opportunities available
• Monday through Friday
• Occasional Saturday as needed
• All scheduled work is performed onsite at our Tomball, Texas pharmacy
• This is not a remote or hybrid position
• Specific hours and scheduling expectations will be discussed during the interview and hiring process

• Hourly compensation competitive and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and responsibilities
