Responsibilities:

    Infrastructure Design and Implementation:

• Design, plan, and implement IT infrastructure projects.
• Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions.
• Deploy and configure infrastructure services such as servers, storage, networking equipment, and virtualization technologies.

    System Monitoring and Maintenance:

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure systems are running optimally.
• Implement security measures to protect infrastructure from vulnerabilities and cyber threats.

    Automation and Scripting:

• Develop automation scripts to streamline repetitive tasks.
• Implement configuration management tools for infrastructure provisioning and management.

    Collaboration and Support:

• Work closely with development teams to support application deployment and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams.
• Collaborate with vendors and external partners as needed.

    Documentation and Compliance:

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Ensure infrastructure meets regulatory compliance requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Docker).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
