The Senior Director of Revenue Operations plays a pivotal role in streamlining and enhancing the efficiency of the company's sales processes, managing revenue-related functions, and equipping customer-facing teams with the tools, training, resources, and insights necessary to drive revenue growth. This role combines strategic planning, data analysis, process improvement, revenue technology administration, sales enablement, revenue intelligence, and governance across marketing, sales, and customer success. 

Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Architect and implement a comprehensive revenue strategy that optimizes the customer lifecycle, aligns go-to-market teams around high-impact growth initiatives, and identifies and mitigates revenue leakage across acquisition and expansion revenue streams. 
  • Own Salesforce administration and drive technology improvements. 
  • Respond to business partners within one business day to scope requested Salesforce changes and improvements. 
  • Design and orchestrate an integrated revenue operations technology ecosystem connecting marketing, sales, and customer success platforms to support seamless data flow, actionable intelligence, automated workflows, and user adoption. 
  • Establish a revenue intelligence function that transforms organizational data into predictive insights used to forecast outcomes, identify high-potential opportunities, diagnose performance gaps, and support strategic decision-making. 
  • Drive go-to-market process excellence by improving handoffs among marketing, sales, and customer success, establishing closed-loop feedback systems, and optimizing conversion metrics throughout the revenue funnel. 
  • Lead enterprise revenue planning by aligning functional targets with organizational objectives and implementing forecasting, scenario modeling, and performance management frameworks. 
  • Design and implement a revenue enablement strategy that supports onboarding, continuous skill development, situational playbooks, and just-in-time content, with measurable effectiveness metrics. 
  • Build and scale the revenue operations function by attracting talent, establishing structured development paths, fostering a data-driven culture, and setting clear performance expectations. 
  • Serve as the primary operations business partner and trusted resource to the Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Marketing Officer, and develop analyses that support business decision-making. 
  • Administer commission calculations with a target of zero calculation defects. 
  • Establish revenue governance practices that support compliance with financial regulations, appropriate revenue-recognition controls, standardized approval workflows, and systematic audit processes. 


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience in revenue operations, sales enablement, or a related role. 
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. 
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management ability. 
  • Experience with CRM systems, including Salesforce, sales automation, and revenue management tools. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Prior sales experience. 


Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business, finance, or a related field. 

Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed primarily in a professional office environment and may be eligible for work from home with supervisor approval. 
  • This is largely a sedentary role, and physical demands are low.
