Position Overview

Eurasia Group is seeking a Program Coordinator to join the Office of Management. This role reports to the Chief of Staff and is based in São Paulo, Brazil.

The primary focus of this position is to support the firm’s standing governance meetings and to execute targeted projects directed by the CEO, Chief of Staff, and Office of Management. This is a high-visibility role at the operational center of the firm, with exposure across practices, regions, and senior leadership.

The ideal candidate is sharp, organized, and intellectually curious, combining strong analytical and writing skills with the discipline to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment. This role suits someone who is energized by variety, comfortable shifting between substantive and operational work, and motivated to learn the inner workings of a global advisory firm from the inside.

This is an in-office position based in São Paulo. Periodic domestic and international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Support to Standing Governance Meetings (Primary Focus)

•       Support the preparation and execution of Eurasia Group’s standing governance meetings and other recurring firm-wide convenings.

•       Draft agendas, coordinate inputs from contributors across the firm, and prepare pre-read materials and presentations.

•       Capture decisions, action items, and follow-ups; track items to closure and ensure accountability across owners.

•       Maintain meeting calendars, attendee lists, and document repositories to support continuity and institutional memory.

Targeted Projects from the CEO, Chief of Staff, and Office of Management

•       Execute discrete projects directed by the CEO, Chief of Staff, and OOM, including research, data collection and analysis, internal communications, and operational improvements.

•       Build data sets and conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform firm-level decisions on commercial performance, talent, and strategic priorities.

•       Draft internal communications, briefing materials, and presentations for senior audiences.

•       Support large commercial opportunities and cross-functional initiatives as needed, coordinating inputs and driving follow-through across teams.

Project Management & Office of Management Operations

•       Maintain tracking systems for action items, decisions, and follow-ups across OOM workstreams.

•       Support scheduling, logistics, and coordination for OOM-led meetings and initiatives.

•       Stay abreast of global political developments relevant to Eurasia Group’s clients and core businesses, applying that context to internal work where relevant.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

Education & Experience

•       Bachelor’s degree required; coursework or degree in political science, international relations, economics, public policy, or a related field preferred.

•       3–5 years of relevant experience in research, advisory, consulting, government, think tank, or executive support roles.

•       Experience supporting senior leadership or working in a fast-paced environment with high accountability is strongly preferred.

Subject Matter Interest

•       Genuine interest in geopolitics and international affairs, and the ability to translate developments into practical implications for firm and client work.

•       Familiarity with Eurasia Group’s research and client context preferred.

Analytical & Communication Skills

•       Strong analytical skills with the ability to work across quantitative and qualitative inputs.

•       Excellent writing and editing skills in English, with experience producing clear, structured materials under tight deadlines.

•       Strong verbal communication and comfort synthesizing information for senior audiences.

Project Management & Judgment

•       Proven ability to anticipate needs, manage multiple workstreams, and deliver reliably under time pressure.

•       Strong organizational and coordination skills across stakeholders and teams.

•       High discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism when handling sensitive information.

Interpersonal & Professional Qualities

•       Collaborative and relationship-oriented, with the ability to work effectively across levels and functions in a global firm.

•       Proactive, responsive to feedback, and energized by variety and pace.

•       Native or near-native English required; Portuguese fluency strongly preferred.

Technical Skills

•       Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and collaboration tools; familiarity with CRM (Salesforce) and project management platforms is a plus.
