About the Job:

FGC+ is seeking a detail-oriented IT QA Software Analyst to support software quality assurance activities within the ForecastOne platform. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and stability of system enhancements through comprehensive testing, defect validation, and collaboration with Product and Development teams.

The successful candidate will execute manual testing, validate system functionality, document defects, and verify that new features meet business and quality requirements before release. The role focuses exclusively on software testing and quality assurance and does not include forecasting, inventory planning, or business operations responsibilities.

What You'll Do:

• Quality Assurance & Software Testing
• Execute functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Perform pre-release and post-release validation to ensure application stability.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and validate software defects using JIRA.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Developers to troubleshoot and verify fixes.
• Validate system enhancements against business and functional requirements.
• Create and execute test cases and test scenarios.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify usability and functional issues.
• Verify production deployments and perform smoke testing after releases.
• Ensure all releases meet quality standards prior to deployment.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
• Provide recommendations to improve product quality, usability, and system performance.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
• Experience performing manual software testing and defect validation.
• Experience using JIRA or similar defect tracking tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment.
• Experience with regression, integration, functional, and UAT testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to SQL or reporting tools is an advantage but not required.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve testing efficiency and documentation is a plus.
