We are seeking energetic, nurturing, and confident BCBAs who will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing IEP or treatment goals, writing behavior intervention plans, designing and implementing effective treatment interventions, and consistently evaluate progress for students on their caseload.

  • Work in a school setting! Collaborate with teachers and behavior technicians to embed ABA programming into the daily academic setting. And no travel!

  • Be the best in best practice! Utilize the ACE® ABA Software System for data collection, assessment, and ABA curriculum.
  • Teach others what you know! Provide staff training for teachers, behavior technicians, and paraprofessionals.
  • Help others grow in their practice of ABA! Supervise BCBA and BCaBA candidates, RBTs, CBT's and paraprofessionals.
  • Be a part of a team! Enjoy working in a collaborative and team-oriented environment with other BCBAs. Collaborate with special educators and other specialty service providers.

BCBA Requirements:

  • Master’s degree from accredited university in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Psychology, Education, or related field
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) with the Washington Department of Health
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience working as a BCBA. Minimum 3 years' experience providing ABA services
  • Experience conducting skill and behavioral assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, FBA, etc.)
  • Expertise in development of skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
  • Completion of the 8-hour supervision training required by the BACB
  • Experience supervising BCaBAs and/or Behavior Technicians (CBT/RBT) required.
  • One year of experience working with insurance companies and treatment planning preferred
  • Experience working with older individuals (high school through adult) preferred
  • Experience working with severe challenging behaviors preferred
  • CPI (therapeutic hold) training certification preferred

Schedule:

  • Location: Onsite at our school located in Issaquah, WA (must be open to helping at Bellevue, WA school if needed)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-3:45p
  • Occasional before- and after-school work hours at the discretion of the administrative staff. 
  • School/Classroom setting

Physical requirements:

  • Must be able to keep students safe from themselves and others and, in some cases, may need to implement CPI (therapeutic holds) procedures. 
  • Must be able to remove oneself from potentially harmful situations and, in some cases, be able to lift a child. 
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move throughout the workday
  • Ability to lift (at least 50-65 pounds), assist, and/or physically support students, which may include lifting or guiding students of varying sizes
  • Ability to physically intervene when required to ensure safety (per CPI training)
  • Ability to remove oneself and/or others from unsafe situations quickly
  • Ability to maintain attention and focus in a dynamic, high-stimulation environment
  • Ability to multi-task and shift priorities quickly
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making, particularly in high-pressure or safety-sensitive situations
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain professional relationships
  • Ability to perform duties under stress, including during behavioral escalations
