About the Role

We are hiring Traffic Control Persons (TCPs) and Lane Closure Technicians (LCTs) to support our growing project needs in the Kelowna and Okanagan region. This is an opportunity to work on YEAR-ROUND upcoming BC Hydro related projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic, pedestrians, and workers safely through active work zones
• Set up and take down lane closures and traffic control equipment
• Interpret and implement traffic control plans
• Complete daily barricade and work zone safety reports
• Support crews to ensure safety and compliance on job sites

Requirements

• Valid BCCSA TCP Ticket
• TCPs minimum of 9 months of experience with a flagging company
• LCTs min 1yr of experience as a TCP and 1yr as a LCT
• Class 5 Driver’s License + clean driver’s abstract (required for LCTs)
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Good communication skills and strong work ethic

Compensation

• Traffic Control Person (TCP): $23
• Lane Closure Technician (LCT): $28

Work Type

• Hourly/On CALL
• Flexible scheduling based on project needs

• Kelowna, BC, and surrounding Okanagan region
