Loop

Senior Product Manager, AI Platform

About Loop

Loop is industrializing services through AI, starting with one of the world's most complex industries: the global supply chain. We're an AI-native company built to solve the systemic data problem that's held logistics back for decades. Our Logistics Data Platform turns fragmented, unstructured data into a trusted foundation that fuels automation, financial clarity, and decision intelligence at scale. Today, Loop serves >20% of the Fortune 100, manages over $30B in supply chain spend, and helps its clients save hundreds of millions of dollars each year.

We recently closed a $95M Series C and are backed by leading investors including Valor Equity Partners, Founders Fund, 8VC, Index Ventures, J.P. Morgan, and more than 50 industry-leading angel investors.

Our team brings deep expertise from Uber, Google, Microsoft, Meta, Amazon, Flexport, C3 AI, VMware, Box, UPS, and C.H. Robinson and we're looking for builders who want to help shape what comes next.

About the Role

Loop turns unstructured logistics documents into structured, audited, payable data. Our platform is the layer that makes that possible, spanning the agent runtime and the frameworks that produce and validate structured data at scale, the shared services and abstractions our application teams build on, and the tooling used to develop, evaluate, and operate all of it.

As Senior Product Manager for AI Platform, you will drive that layer end to end. Your primary customers are internal, and they are the product engineering teams, AI Operations analysts, solutions engineers, and implementation managers who build on the platform. Your job is to give them reusable capability instead of repeated work, so that a problem solved once at the platform layer is not solved again in three products. You will spend your time with those builders, in the tooling, and in the data rather than in the sales cycle, and you will be measured on how much they ship and how quickly.

You will partner closely with AI Platform engineering leadership and report to the Chief Product Officer.

This is an in-person role based in San Francisco, with the expectation of being in the office 4+ days per week.

What You'll Do

  • Establish and drive the product roadmap for Loop's platform, setting the priorities that let application teams and operations move faster.
  • Drive the agent runtime as a product: the tools, context, and memory agents operate with, and the orchestration primitives that let a new agent be assembled from existing capability rather than built from scratch.
  • Define how agents earn autonomy, including the guardrails, approval points, and escalation paths that determine what an agent does unsupervised and what requires a person. Define how automation is evaluated before and after release.
  • Partner with engineering to design solutions that scale, and evaluate cross-industry agentic technology to decide what Loop adopts, extends, or builds.
  • Establish and maintain the platform KPIs, including adoption of shared capability, automation rate, time from new use case to production, and gross margin expansion. Justify roadmap investment using quantitative and qualitative evidence, and make explicit trade-offs across capability, cost, and latency.
  • Partner with AI Operations, Solutions, and Implementation to move validated workflows into product and to sequence platform investment against the enterprise deployments in flight.

About You

  • 4+ years in product management, including at least two on a developer platform, internal tooling, data platform, or AI/ML platform.
  • Bachelor of Science in a STEM field; Master of Science (or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience building shared services, APIs, or component libraries that other engineering teams depend on, with the judgment to know when a pattern is worth abstracting and when it is not.
  • Strong understanding of AI and ML systems in production, including how agentic systems are designed, evaluated, and operated. You have shipped them yourself and can reason about why one failed rather than only that it did.
  • Experience making internal users your primary customer, and translating complex technical capability into tooling a non-technical operator can use without training.
  • Ability to develop and communicate product vision and strategy to both engineering and executive audiences, and comfort operating in an ambiguous, fast-moving domain. Prior logistics experience is welcome but not required.
  • Plus if you have built evaluation or observability tooling for AI systems and delivered AI / data software to large enterprises.

Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is $183,000 to $205,000 annually. This range reflects the base pay that Loop reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of hire. Actual compensation will depend on job-related factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, location, and business needs.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for an annual performance bonus and equity. This role is also eligible for Loop's benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, paid holidays, and parental leave.
