Talent Acquisition Lead

About Loop

Loop is industrializing services through AI, starting with one of the world's most complex industries: the global supply chain. We're an AI-native company built to solve the systemic data problem that's held logistics back for decades. Our Logistics Data Platform turns fragmented, unstructured data into a trusted foundation that fuels automation, financial clarity, and decision intelligence at scale. Today, Loop serves >20% of the Fortune 100, manages over $30B in supply chain spend, and helps its clients save hundreds of millions of dollars each year.

We recently closed a $95M Series C and are backed by leading investors including Valor Equity Partners, Founders Fund, 8VC, Index Ventures, J.P. Morgan, and more than 50 industry-leading angel investors.

Our team brings deep expertise from Uber, Google, Microsoft, Meta, Amazon, Flexport, C3 AI, VMware, Box, UPS, and C.H. Robinson and we're looking for builders who want to help shape what comes next.

About the Role

As our Talent Acquisition Lead, you'll help build and scale the recruiting function that powers Loop's next stage of growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is equally energized by finding and closing exceptional talent and by building the systems, processes, team, and strategy behind a high-performing Talent Acquisition function. You'll own critical searches, with an initial focus on Engineering and Product, while taking broader ownership for how Loop attracts, assesses, hires, and engages talent across the company.

You'll partner directly with senior leaders to understand their organizations, anticipate talent needs, and translate business priorities into thoughtful hiring strategies. At the same time, you'll raise the bar for the entire recruiting engine from candidate experience and sourcing strategy to interview design, recruiting technology, analytics, employer branding presence, and hiring manager partnership.

You'll also lead and develop a small TA team as we grow, creating the foundation for a function that can scale with Loop.

This is a true build opportunity for an ambitious talent leader who wants to expand beyond owning searches and have meaningful ownership over how a high-growth technology company builds its recruiting function.

This role is preferably based in San Francisco, with an expectation of being in the office 4+ days per week.

What You'll Do

  • Evolve and scale Loop's TA function. Own and continuously improve the processes, systems, tools, operating rhythms, and standards that enable us to hire exceptional talent efficiently as we grow.
  • Lead critical Engineering and Product hiring. Stay hands-on with high-priority and complex searches, developing targeted sourcing strategies and personally engaging, assessing, and closing exceptional technical and product talent.
  • Serve as a strategic talent partner to leaders. Work closely with executives and hiring managers to understand business priorities, anticipate talent needs, define success profiles, assess talent markets, and build hiring strategies that support their organizations.
  • Raise the bar for how we assess talent. Build structured, high-signal interview processes, scorecards, assessment criteria, and calibration practices that help leaders make consistent and high-quality hiring decisions.
  • Build an exceptional candidate experience. Own the end-to-end experience candidates have with Loop and identify opportunities to differentiate how we engage, communicate with, assess, and close talent.
  • Expand Loop's presence in the talent market. Partner across the business to strengthen our employer brand and develop creative ways to build awareness and relationships with exceptional talent, particularly across the Engineering and Product communities.
  • Build proactive talent pipelines. Move beyond requisition-by-requisition recruiting by identifying priority talent markets, building long-term relationships, and developing sourcing strategies that give Loop access to talent before a role opens.
  • Use data to run the function. Establish meaningful recruiting metrics and operating rhythms that give leaders visibility into hiring progress, pipeline health, quality, velocity, sourcing effectiveness, and areas requiring intervention.
  • Own and evolve our recruiting technology. Ensure our ATS, sourcing tools, automation, AI, and broader recruiting tech stack make the team more effective and create a scalable foundation for growth.
  • Lead and develop the TA team. Manage, coach, and raise the bar for a small team of recruiters, creating clarity around priorities, expectations, development, and what great recruiting looks like at Loop.
  • Help shape what's next. As a senior member of the People team, contribute beyond Talent Acquisition to broader talent and People initiatives that strengthen how we attract, onboard, develop, and retain exceptional people.

About You

  • You have 7+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, ideally within high-growth technology companies, and have seen what great recruiting looks like during periods of meaningful scale.
  • You’re a strategic, hands-on builder with deep experience recruiting Engineering and Product talent. You can credibly advise technical leaders and executives on talent strategy while personally sourcing and closing exceptional candidates, and you’ve built or meaningfully evolved the processes, systems, and programs that enable a recruiting function to scale.
  • You've developed or led other recruiters and enjoy raising the capabilities of the people around you. Prior direct people management experience is preferred.
  • You know how to build a high-performing, modern recruiting engine from structured hiring processes and exceptional candidate experience to employer brand, recruiting technology, and AI and use data and funnel insights to continuously improve hiring quality and outcomes.
  • You thrive in ambiguity and are an ambitious builder, energized by the opportunity to create what doesn’t yet exist and grow from leading recruiting today to scaling a world-class Talent Acquisition function over time.
