About LOVB (League One Volleyball):
League One Volleyball (LOVB) is reimagining women's sports. Launched in 2019, our company is a mission-led sports performance, training and media enterprise that will change the game of volleyball in the USA and empower new generations of female athletes.
It is a groundbreaking time for volleyball in the US with our historic triple Olympic Gold medals in Women's Indoor, Beach and Sitting Volleyball. Volleyball is already the #1 most played girls' youth sport. There are 38M current and former players today. Of major sports, it's the only one that is women-first (~90% of players are female). But the volleyball market has been almost entirely missed by traditional sports investors, brands, and media.
LOVB is capturing this opportunity by creating a strong club business, and from that built-in audience and fandom, is creating the best Pro League in the world and a digital ecosystem that will connect all aspects of LOVB. This community-up approach will drive participation and fandom, while enabling greater empowerment for girls and young women living this amazing sport. In this role, you will join a mission-driven, roll-up-your-sleeves team of innovators and builders who have come together to change the paradigm of professional volleyball and women’s sports.

Built from the grassroots up through a network of junior volleyball clubs, LOVB Miami is part of the only professional league in the United States with a fully integrated youth-to-pro ecosystem. The club is shaping a new vision for professional sports in one of the world’s most dynamic markets, built on elite competition, community, and the advancement of women’s volleyball.
LOVB Miami is backed by a best-in-class ownership group of experienced operators and passionate volleyball supporters. We are building the first and greatest women’s sports franchise in Miami, with deep resources, a network second to none, and unmatched ambition to be the best. Our ownership group is committed to a franchise that reflects the culture, energy and diversity of Miami: a cultural anchor of the community and an international beacon for women’s sport with deep connectivity to Latin America.
This is a founding role. You will help build a professional sports club from a blank page in one of the most competitive and most international sports markets in the country.
The Social Media Manager owns the club’s voice and its daily presence across social platforms. You set the channel strategy, run the calendar, publish, capture, edit, and manage the community — and you do it for a roster drawn from eight countries in a city that consumes content in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
This is a strategy role and a hands-on production role at the same time. You will be shooting on your phone at practice on a Tuesday and presenting a quarterly channel plan on a Wednesday.
The best candidate is a creator themselves, and has a point of view about what makes a professional sports club worth following, including a body of work (personal or work) that proves it.
The inaugural season sets the club’s tone permanently. Priorities include:
Benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage; 401(k) with company match; paid time off; paid parental leave; team merchandise and ticket allocation.
This is a full-time position based in Miami, Florida. Availability for all home match days, including evenings and weekends throughout the LOVB Pro season, is required.
