Regional Manager

About the role

We are seeking dynamic and experienced Regional Managers to oversee our operations on global projects across Europe. As the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful implementation of lightning protection projects across the region. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a talented team and make a significant impact on our company's success.

 

This role requires international travel for up to 75% of working time to support overseas project delivery.

What you'll do

Project Management:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of lightning protection projects in compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project completion, quality control, and budget adherence.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve any issues or delays and provide regular updates

 

Logistics and Supply Chain Management:

  • Oversee logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors and Procurement Manager to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Optimise supply chain processes to minimize costs and improve efficiency.

 

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Provide leadership and direction to a diverse team of technicians, engineers, and support staff.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify training needs and provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.

 

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their requirements and providing tailored lightning protection solutions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, proposals, and project negotiations, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction at all stages of the engagement.

 

Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability among team members.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, business development, and project management within the construction, engineering, or related industry
  • Strong understanding of lightning protection systems, electrical engineering principles, and construction practices
  • Excellent leadership and team-building abilities, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages such as German, Dutch, French, Swedish, Portugese or Spanish would be advantageous but not required.
