Senior Manager, Production

With a growing company comes a growing team full of innovative people. As the Senior Manager of Production, you will execute and deliver quality, on-time products, including cost negotiations, factory placement, and production. This role manages all factory and mill relationships and ensures the flow of information from pre-production through production. This person plays a crucial CF role in maintaining the principles of development and production: cost, quality, and delivery.

This position reports to the Senior Director of Product Development & Production.


Please note that this is a hybrid position of 3-4 days/week in our Los Angeles office.



What You'll Do

  • Oversee PO issuance as it pertains to calendar
  • Negotiate production costs and operational efficiencies  
  • Oversee production risk management and contingency planning
  • Maintain and update vendor WIPs on weekly basis; communicate to CFT as needed
  • T&A ownership; outreach, lead time optimization, internal publishing
  • Lead weekly factory calls to ensure timely troubleshooting of cost, quality, and delivery
  • Source, develop, and negotiate for all packaging needs
  • Monitor factory compliance and audit performance via scorecards and QBR
  • Drive process improvement and production scalability
  • Lead seasonal production forecasting and capacity planning
  • Engage and facilitate daily communication with vendors to address all production related issues
  • Initiate production fabric and garment testing, when applicable 
  • Work with third party and MeUndies QCs to ensure first quality production and shipping

What You Have

  • B.A or equivalent 
  • 8+  years of experience in production, preferably imports
  • In depth understanding of development and production calendars
  • Strong comprehension of garment composition and quality control
  • Ability to analyze apparel cost sheets 
  • Production problem-solving skills
  • Versed in managing a robust supplier base; fabric, trims, and manufacturing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, emphasis on international relationships
  • Strong project management skills and experience managing CFT
  • High attention to detail and deadline driven
  • Strong organization skills
  • Advanced Excel & G suite proficiency
  • Deadline-driven with a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities

The base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000 -$150,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the base salary range provided in this posting does not include any bonus, equity, or benefits you may be eligible for.
