What You’ll Do

As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you’ll play an important role in both our patients’ health and their overall experience with our practice.

• Provide exceptional preventive and periodontal care
• Complete thorough patient assessments, periodontal charting, radiographs, and clinical documentation
• Identify periodontal conditions and appropriate opportunities for SRP and continued periodontal maintenance
• Educate patients about their oral health and recommended treatment in a way that is clear, supportive, and easy to understand
• Build trust with patients and help them feel comfortable, informed, and genuinely cared for
• Partner closely with dentists during co-diagnosis and treatment planning
• Utilize digital imaging, CBCT, intraoral photography, scanning technology, and other modern clinical tools
• Review your schedule and patient records before the clinical day begins so you are prepared for each patient
• Maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked, and procedure-ready operatory
• Support an efficient patient flow without compromising clinical quality or the patient experience
• Communicate important patient information clearly and proactively with the clinical and front-office teams
• Participate in morning huddles prepared, engaged, and ready to contribute
• Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, infection-control, sterilization, and patient-safety requirements
• Contribute to a positive, respectful, collaborative, and professional office culture

Who We’re Looking For

• Active Tennessee Registered Dental Hygienist license
• At least one year of clinical hygiene experience preferred
• Strong periodontal assessment, charting, SRP identification, and patient-education skills
• Confidence partnering with dentists during co-diagnosis and treatment planning
• Knowledge of current infection-control and sterilization requirements
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work effectively in a productive, fast-paced clinical environment
• Experience with digital workflows, CBCT, intraoral scanners, dental imaging, practice-management software, or treatment-acceptance conversations is preferred

Schedule

Clinical providers work a four-day workweek. Exact scheduled days will be discussed during the interview process.

Clinic patient hours are 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Team members arrive before patient hours to prepare for the morning huddle and clinical day.
