Role Description: 


As an Finance and Accounting Executive, you will play a key role in the Finance team at myKaarma by assisting the Finance & Accounting Manager with day-to-day financial operations. You will be responsible for key activities including bookkeeping, processing and monitoring daily financial transactions, ensuring statutory compliances, managing accounts payable, and assisting in maintaining accurate financial records. In this role, you will work closely with the Finance & Accounting Manager to support seamless financial operations, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and facilitate effective coordination with internal stakeholders, vendors, and service partners. This position offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with a high-performing team while building strong expertise in accounting, financial operations, and office administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely recording of all financial transactions and ensure proper filing of accounting documents.
  • Process and verify accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Perform bank, vendor, and ledger reconciliations on a regular basis and assist in resolving discrepancies (if any)
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of schedules and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, STPI and other applicable regulations.
  • Assist in SOFTEX documentation, certification, and submission for export of IT/ITES services through authorized banks and STPI.
  • Monitor and process employee reimbursements and expense claims in accordance with company policies.
  • Coordinate with auditors and maintain required compliance documentation including tax filings, and regulatory reporting
  • Generate and maintain periodic financial reports and cash flow monitoring
  • Assist in implementing and improving accounting processes, internal controls, and compliance procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and financial best practices.
  • Support internal communication and coordination across departments when required.



Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)  / Semi qualified.
  • 1–2 years of experience in finance operations, accounting, bookkeeping, or auditing, with at least 1 year of hands-on audit experience. Prior experience with a Big 4 or Top 10 accounting/advisory firm is highly preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Indian GAAP / Ind AS, GST, TDS, and Income Tax laws, SOFTEX and STPI procedures
  • Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving skills and multitasking abilities.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
