Position Overview
Netwrix builds security and compliance software trusted by thousands of organizations worldwide. Our Product Design team is small, senior, and directly influential — we work closely with product management and engineering to shape how customers experience our platform.
We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to own the design function for Access Analyzer, one of our core products. This is a high-ownership IC role — you'll drive discovery through delivery, bring strong UX research instincts to a complex enterprise domain, and work fluently alongside engineers. AI tooling is a core part of how this team works, not an optional layer on top of it.
What You'll Own
Product Design
• Own end-to-end design for Access Analyzer — from early discovery and research through final shipped UI
• Translate complex enterprise security workflows into clear, intuitive user experiences
• Run and synthesize UX research: interviews, usability testing, and contextual inquiry
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers from problem framing through handoff
Research & Strategy
• Bring a research-first mindset — you ask good questions before you make things
• Partner with PM to define problems, validate hypotheses, and prioritize based on user insight
• Synthesize findings into clear documentation that informs roadmap decisions
AI-Native Design Practice
• Use AI at every stage of the process — discovery synthesis, generative ideation, prototype development, research interpretation, and documentation
• Figma, Claude Design and Claude Code are primary tools here, not experiments. You'll be expected to work fluently in all of them from day one
• Bring your own perspective on where AI makes the work better and where it doesn't — we're always refining how we use it
Team Contribution
• Participate in weekly design critique and help maintain a high bar for quality across the team
• Contribute to shared component patterns, design system consistency, and component documentation — this is a standard part of delivery, not optional work
• Be a resource for teammates on AI tooling fluency
What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
• 5–8 years of product design experience with enterprise or B2B SaaS products
• Strong UX research skills — you've run your own studies and know how to act on what you find
• Genuine AI fluency — Claude Design, Claude Code, and AI-assisted workflows are already part of how you work; this is core to the role
• Figma fluency and a portfolio that shows both polished experiences and the thinking behind them
• Hands-on Claude Code experience — you've used it in real design work, not just dabbled; comfort working at the intersection of design and code is a genuine differentiator here
• Engineering comfort — you've worked closely with devs, understand component logic, and write specs that hold up
• Clear, direct communication; you don't need a lot of hand-holding to get going
Nice to haves:
• Experience in security, identity, or compliance software
• Familiarity with design systems governance and component documentation
• Comfort presenting to and influencing non-design stakeholders
What Success Looks Like
30 Days - You've gotten oriented — understand the product, the users, and the team's working style. You've sat in on key cross-functional meetings and have a point of view forming.
60 Days - You're producing and shipping. You've delivered at least one meaningful design to engineering, run or participated in at least one piece of user research, and the team knows your voice.
90 Days - You're a full contributor. You're driving your own work, influencing product decisions, and contributing to how the team works. PM and engineering trust your judgment.
Working Here
Our design team is small by design — everyone is senior, everyone owns something real, and there's very little overhead. You'll report directly to the Director of Product Design and work closely with product managers and engineering leads embedded in the Access Analyzer product area.
We're not a company that talks about AI — we build workflows around it and expect the same from the people we hire. This team works in Claude Design and Claude Code as primary tools, alongside Figma. If that excites you more than it intimidates you, you'll fit right in.
