Director of Strategy

About Us:

New Reach, headquartered in Tempe, Arizona, operates a unified platform of community-centric ecosystems where members engage, transact, and grow. We don't sell courses or content—we build environments where real outcomes happen through purpose-driven engagement and collaboration.

With over 37,000 members, we've proven this model works. Starting in real estate and now expanding across industries, our platform connects people to tools, capital, opportunities, and each other in ways that compound success over time. Community isn't a feature here—it's how outcomes get delivered.

As members engage, leadership emerges organically. Regional groups form, peer-led initiatives launch, and people build together while staying connected to something larger—a system designed to scale through connection and member-driven collaboration.

New Reach | Tempe, AZ (In-Office Preferred, Flexible for the Right Candidate)
Reports to: Vice President of Marketing
Compensation: $120,000 – $140,000 base + 25% quarterly performance bonus (total comp up to $175,000)

This role is not for most marketers.

If your experience is brand awareness campaigns, social media calendars, or "marketing manager" work that never touched an offer, a funnel, or a close rate, this isn't your next move. This role exists for someone who has run the strategy behind conversion events. Webinars. Live summits. Challenges. Replays. If you've built the brief, shaped the offer, written the positioning, coordinated the cross-functional execution, and then sat in the war room watching registrations and conversions come in, keep reading.

What you'll own

New Reach runs multiple conversion events every month across several education brands. Some of these events draw 5,000+ registrants and generate over $1MM in revenue per event. The formats include live virtual summits, immersion events, webinars, evergreen replays, challenges, and ask-me-anything sessions.

You will own the campaign strategy for these events and launches. That means:

  • Offer strategy. You define the offer positioning, messaging hierarchy, audience angle, and differentiators. Not the media buyer. Not the copywriter. You.
  • Campaign briefs. You build briefs clear enough that Growth, Creative, Copy/Email, and MarTech can execute without confusion, rework, or a dozen follow-up Slack threads.
  • Strategic assets. You build or direct presentation decks, webinar materials, landing page messaging, ad scripts, and launch inputs.
  • Cross-functional coordination. You partner with Growth, Creative, Copy/Email, and MarTech to make sure campaigns are feasible, on-strategy, measurable, and launch-ready.
  • Performance translation. You take campaign data, funnel metrics, and revenue signals and turn them into better offers, sharper messaging, and smarter decisions for the next event.

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role reporting directly to the VP of Marketing. There is potential for growth bu what matters most right now is someone who can operate cross-functionally, move fast, and produce strategic work that downstream teams can run with.

What success looks like

Your briefs ship clean. Downstream teams execute without ambiguity.

Your offers convert. Positioning is sharp, differentiated, and grounded in what actually moves the audience.

Your events perform. Show-up rates, close rates, offer conversion, and event revenue trend up because the strategic inputs got better.

Your decisions hold up. Strategy calls are backed by data and performance patterns, not gut feel or opinion.

Webinar and event campaigns launch on time with real alignment across teams. Not "we got it done." Alignment.

You should have

  • 5+ years in marketing strategy, offer development, direct response, launch marketing, or conversion-focused campaign work. Not channel execution. Strategy.
  • Direct, hands-on experience with webinars, live events, and conversion event campaigns. If you have never worked in Zoom, Everwebinar, or similar platforms, you are not qualified for this role.
  • Proven ability to create strategic briefs that translate business goals into executable campaign plans.
  • Strong instincts for offer framing, landing page messaging, and ad concepts.
  • Strong deck-building and presentation skills for webinars, launches, and internal alignment.
  • Comfort with campaign data, funnel metrics, and revenue signals. You don't need to be an analyst, but you need to read a dashboard and know what to do next.
  • The ability to operate in a fast-moving environment with multiple launches, stakeholders, and competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Slides, Docs), Zoom, ActiveCampaign, Monday.com, and Everwebinar.

Bonus points

  • Experience in education, info products, events, coaching, or other offer-driven businesses.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms like Close.
  • A background that proves you can think critically and execute strategically, regardless of whether you have a degree.
